We Chinese like fish not only because of its delicious taste, but also because of our beautiful wish---to have fish (surplus) every year.
Of course, many homes keep some ornamental fish. I also keep some at home. Because the fish tank is small, I keep some anchovies. Even though the little guy is small, he is still quite interesting.
When I am free, I like to watch them swimming around in such a small space. For them, that small fish tank is the ocean! We also raised two phoenix bamboos, two green radish plants, and two spider plants in the fish tank. The root systems of the plants are very developed, and the long ones cover the entire fish tank. The fish always like to drill in and out of the intricate root systems. , as if playing hide and seek.
Maybe the fish and the plants help each other! Since we raised plants in the fish tank, the water in the fish tank is no longer dirty. The plants also seem to absorb better nutrients and grow better than before.
I have kept these fish in my house for almost four years. I bought four at the beginning. In the first year, their number did not increase, but in the next three years, the number increased intermittently. Dozens. Because the fish tank was too small, I gave it to my neighbor twice, and there were almost thirty fish! There are more than 40 fish in the fish tank now!
Fish symbolizes wealth, and keeping fish at home will also be good for a family’s Feng Shui. Although I don’t believe in Feng Shui, most people’s approval is always correct. (Although I am not a follower of trends) I really don’t keep fish because of Feng Shui theory, it’s really just because they are so cute.
After a busy day, we sit quietly on the sofa and watch them swim happily without any worldly worries. Although they look like a prison to us, they can still be free.
They all say that life is equal, and they should enjoy the right to life and limited space just like us. If they had the right to choose, would they like to continue being a fish or a human being in their next life?
Let’s talk about my stone paintings!
I draw them carefully, hoping that their bodies are flexible. Maybe with a light touch, they will swim away from under our eyes! They came from the bottom of my heart, swam out from my fingertips, and then stopped on this beautiful stone. Everything is fate. If there is fate, we will meet sooner or later, right?
Post some process pictures! If you like it, please give it a like, okay? But don’t force it, it depends on your mood!
