According to historical records, Empress Chayu was very diligent and kind to the captured Empress Dowager of the Southern Song Dynasty and their wives. Unfortunately, the year after the Yuan Dynasty unified China, the Queen Chayu died. Queen Chabi's last words to Kublai Khan were to be buried in the barren hills. Kublai Khan was puzzled. How can the tomb of Queen Tang be built in the barren hills?
Queen Chabi told Kublai Khan that 500 years later, the son of heaven would guard her grave. Kublai Khan finally agreed to the last words of Queen Chayu. But Kublai Khan was very thoughtful. He hid the tomb of Queen Chubi from future grave robbers. 500 years later, it was already the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and the barren hills that originally belonged to the tomb of the Queen Chayu were already in the Summer Palace.
At that time, Qianlong planned to build a tower. During the construction, the workers dug a tombstone. According to legend, there are eight characters written on the tombstone: "If you don't touch me, I won't touch you". In this case, Qianlong decided to build a pavilion to suppress the ghosts below and named it Foxiang Pavilion. However, these are all from folklore, which is not credible, because there is another saying that there is a tomb of an Amin dynasty princess buried in Buddha. So we don't know if there is a tomb under the Buddha pavilion, and we don't know who the tomb is. We can't guess. All the above are inferred from folklore.
