Is it good to grow mother flowers and geomantic omen at home?

I lived in my grandmother's house for a while when I was a child. Every holiday, my cousin will take me fishing in the river and picking apples from trees. Once, my brother took me to the vegetable field and picked cucumbers and tomatoes at will. Later, I found out that he ran to my grandmother's house and accused us of "committing a crime". It was my cousin who took all the mistakes. Of course, he was also beaten and punished.

Grandpa will plant a beautiful flower around the horse-blocking wall in the pit yard every year. It is yellow and orange. It's beautiful to sit in the pit yard and look at the sky and the flowers fluttering in the wind. Grandpa said that this orange flower is for viewing, and only yellow flowers can be eaten. I didn't know its name-day lily until I grew up.

? This period is the best memory of my childhood.

? I seldom see this kind of flower when I grow up. Once, Bai Mo, a writer and teacher, said that his hometown was full of day lilies. With this memory, we came to Huaiyang, the hometown of day lily in China.

Daylily is a unique species in China, with a planting history of more than 2,000 years. The day lily in Huaiyang has seven pistils and is the best day lily. As early as the Han Dynasty, it became famous all over the country and became a pilgrimage tribute. When Su Shi, a great writer in the Song Dynasty, went to Chen Zhou (Huaiyang was called Chen Zhou in ancient times) for an outing, he compensated Huaiyang day lily and wrote a quatrain in Supo Pavilion, Chen Zhou, which was highly praised.

Stepping on the dawn, we came to Zhang Qiao Village, Cai Zhen, the day lily planting base of Huaiyang Jinnong Industrial Co., Ltd., and the villagers were racing against time to pick the endless and fragrant day lily fields.

The day lily we eat is actually a bud that hasn't blossomed yet. Daylily blooms in midsummer every year. When picking the day lily, the best quality can be guaranteed when the day lily is about to bloom. Every picking is a race against time. Secretary Zhang of the village committee said: In ancient China, daylily has always been a symbol of children's affection for their mothers, and its status is comparable to that of carnations now, and it is the mother flower of China. "Only love has a few inches of grass, and it will be rewarded with three spring rays", that is, day lily. After telling the story, he also showed us the unique seven nuclei of Huaiyang day lily.

Daylily has been regarded as a table treasure as expensive as gold since ancient times. It is cool and sweet, and has the functions of clearing heat, promoting diuresis, invigorating spleen, stimulating appetite, relaxing muscles and tendons, promoting blood circulation, stopping bleeding and relieving annoyance. It is rich in nutrients, with protein, fat, calcium and iron being 1.5 times that of spinach and vitamins being 10 times that of Chinese cabbage. It is also rich in minerals.

The harvested buds should be cooked immediately, otherwise the flowers will still bloom, and the day lily steamed in a farm pot tastes the best. After steaming, the color of yellow flowers becomes darker. After a few days of drying, delicious daylily can be listed. This traditional technology has gradually disappeared in the rural areas where labor is scarce at present, and it has been replaced by a processing method of fumigation and anticorrosion with various additives. Now, it is not easy to eat the original day lily.

Land can always give people hope, but it needs human efforts. This time, I would like to thank Yuan of Huaiyang, Yuan Dongsheng of Huaiyang Photographers Association and Zhang Huawei, the inheritor of Huaiyang clay dog, for their contact and leadership. When Dashu returns to his hometown, every kind of folk food has the contribution of friends from different regions. This is another deep search and return. I wish Huaiyang Day Lily can get better and better and truly become a national geographical indication protection product.
