1. Leizhou Peninsula is located at the southernmost tip of Chinese mainland, bordering the South China Sea in the east and Beibu Gulf in the west. There are East Island, Zhuzhou and other affiliated islands, among which East Island is connected with seawall. The peninsula is surrounded by the sea on three sides. The coastline is about 1 180 km long, and the coastline of the island is about 1450 km long. It is named after the historical Leizhou District.
2. Leizhou Peninsula mainly governs Suixi County, Haikang County (now Leizhou City), Wuchuan City, xuwen county City and Chikan District, xiashan district, Development Zone, Mazhang District and Potou District of Zhanjiang City.
3. The main islands are East Island, Zhuzhou Island, Decheng Island, Diaoshun Island and Nansan Island. It stands out in the South China Sea of China. It is adjacent to Lingnan Mountains in the north, across the sea from Hainan Province, an international tourist island, across Qiongzhou Strait in the south and Beibu Gulf in the west.
