When you step into the scenic spot, the first thing you see is a quemen in the style of Qin and Han Dynasties. Que is an extremely important architectural image in the ancient architectural system of China, symbolizing sacredness and nobility. Quemen is 12 meters high, and its bearing is extraordinary. Comrade Sun Dehan, secretary of the municipal party committee, gladly wrote the inscription "Qinhuangtai Scenic Area", and the font is magnificent, adding some magnificent colors to the scenic spot.
Six rows of brush-painted forest walls behind Quemen, which are composed of cedar and cypress, are distributed on both sides of the main road of the scenic spot, just like ancient guards with neat queues, which arouses some reverie of tourists.
Walking through the forest wall, there is the bronze statue of Qin Shihuang, which is the first in the world. The statue is majestic and tall, artistically reappearing the heroic spirit of Qin Shihuang's unification of China. The sculpture is made of forged copper, with a weight of 6 tons and a height of 18 meters. The creator is the famous sculptor Professor Li Huaijie. Looking up at Qin Shihuang, I can't help but think of the great poet Li Bai's "Antique" chapter: "Qin Huang presses the sword, and he is angry and shocked."
On both sides of the front row of the bronze statue, there are nine teams of stone figurines and a pair of horse figurines, which are carved according to the original specifications of the Qin Terracotta Warriors. The art of Terracotta Warriors and Horses is characterized by realism, with wide eyes, fierce valor and vivid details. According to experts, when Qin Shihuang was in power, he built the Terracotta Warriors and Horses to escort the spirit of his mother Dong Taihou back to his hometown of Handan. On both sides of the back of the bronze statue, there are unified models of cars and tracks and models of dimensions, quantities, scales and characters, which are very realistic and reproduce the great achievements of Qin Shihuang.
Yingxian Bridge and Long Yin Lake are located on the west side of the bronze statue. Yingxian Bridge is a nine-hole arch bridge with 36 white marble railings on its deck. The name of Yingxian Bridge naturally commemorates the revolutionary martyrs who contributed their lives to the liberation of Binzhou people. After crossing Yingxian Bridge, the Martyrs Cemetery in Bincheng District shows people a red revolutionary historical village.
At first glance, Long Yin Lake looks like a gourd and a horseshoe nest. Legend has it that when Qin Shihuang first arrived here, his wheels were trapped because he was located on the beach. At that time, alchemist Xu Fu persuaded: "This is an ominous sign, Your Majesty should not go.". Qin Shihuang was hesitating when he heard a dragon singing ahead. His green mane horse slammed his front hoof twice and pulled the carriage out of the mud. Then a pool of clear water appeared behind him, which is now Longyin Lake.
Walking along the main road of the scenic spot, past the bronze statue of Qin Shihuang, the beautiful scenery of Qintai is impressive. Qintai, formerly known as Putai, is said to be the hope of Sendai built by Qin Shihuang, which is the first of the three stations in ancient Binzhou and one of the eight scenic spots. Known as the "soul of Binzhou", it is a treasure trove of geomantic omen to bless Binzhou's favorable weather and people's living and working in peace.
