First, the authenticity of stone lions is better than other places.
There are two big lions in front of the bell and drum tower. They are a left and a right, a man and a woman. The male stood alone on the table, looking straight ahead, with firm eyes, four sharp claws and a piece of copper in his mouth. Look at the female, she is also standing on the table, but look carefully, she is not the only one. There are also two cubs, one of which is crawling around on the back of the lioness. I seem tired and need a rest. The other one happened to be in the lioness's arms, with its paws in the air. Some people say that he is playing with the lioness's hair, but after careful observation, it is found that he is playing with the bell under the lioness's neck. One * * * is four stone lions, and the hand-carved lines on the tail are particularly clear, although not smooth enough, but particularly real. They are all vivid, different from lions in other places. In contrast, they are more real. They have been standing on both sides in front of the bell and drum tower. No matter the wind, frost, rain and snow, they are always so persistent. Even if it is not true, the stone lion can guard our Kannonji town like a guardian.
Second, good things stolen at high prices are still not sold.
The legend of Shishi is also very touching. I don't know how long it took after these two stone lions were built. Someone came to Shishi and came up with a high price to buy these four lions, but people in Kannonji were determined not to sell them. After some struggle, I finally didn't sell it. Another one is that when we were looking at the lion, the teeth in his mouth actually disappeared. Only after we learned about it did we know that there was a stone called copper in the mouth of the male lion, which was very precious. But unexpectedly, it was stolen. I don't know how the man took it out and knocked out his teeth. This is the most regrettable regret among lions.
The stone lions in Kannonji have a long history and are better than those in many places. As for the stone lion, I admire Kannonji the most.
