Taiping Town is located in the southwest of Qingxin District, adjacent to Shantang Town in the southeast, Sankeng Town in the southwest, Longjing Town in the northwest and Taihe Town in the northeast. The terrain inclines from northwest to southeast, with low mountains and hills in the northwest and Beijiang Plain in the southeast.
