Guanshan Lake District is a district of Guiyang City, bordering Qianling Mountain in the east, Mawangmiao area of Sanqiao in the south, qingzhen city in the west and Baiyun District in the north. The main tourist attractions in Guanshanhu District are Baihua Lake Scenic Area and Guanshanhu Park.
Guanshan Lake area is the new urban area, central area, window area, ecological area and experimental area of Guiyang. As a new urban area, construction began in 2000, and was established as an administrative area on 20 12 with the approval of the State Council. Guanshanhu District governs 3 towns, 7 streets, 49 administrative villages and 84 neighborhood committees, with a permanent population of more than 500,000.
As the central region, Guiyang is positioned as one of the "double cores" in the "double cores and multi-groups". A number of provincial and municipal major functional facilities, such as the Municipal Administration Center, Guiyang Olympic Sports Center, Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center, Guizhou Financial City, Guizhou Southwest International Trade City, Guizhou Provincial Museum and Guiyang High-speed Railway North Station, have settled here, which is the political, economic, financial, cultural and transportation center of Guiyang.

Baihua lake 1
1March, 987, it was approved as a provincial-level scenic spot by the people's government of Guizhou Province. The water surface area of Baihua Lake reaches 10.96 square kilometers at normal water level and about 15 square kilometers in wet season, which is twice the water surface area of West Lake in Hangzhou, and ranks third among reservoirs in Guizhou Province, second only to Hongfeng Lake and Wujiang Reservoir.
2. Guanshanhu Park
Guanshan Lake Park covers an area of more than 5,500 mu, of which the forest area is 4 160 mu. There are many kinds of fruit trees in the park, including apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees and peach trees, as well as magnolia, sassafras, weeping willows, Du Ying, Liriodendron, Er Qiao magnolia, paulownia, Liquidambar formosana, Magnolia grandiflora and osmanthus.
