Since ancient times, the area at the northern foot of the Qinling Mountains has been the "back garden" of the ancient capital Xi'an. It has beautiful natural scenery and is full of cultural relics. It has always been the best choice for Xi'an people to enjoy the scenery and explore the secrets. There are too many large and small scenic spots in the Qinling Mountains. Some of them are ticketed scenic spots, and many are original free attractions. Among all the scenic spots in the Qinling Mountains, there is one that is located at an altitude of more than 2,100 meters. A single stone monument attracts many tourists to queue up to check in.
It is the Fengyukou watershed.
When it comes to the Fengyu Watershed, it may not be appropriate to call it a "scenic spot", but basically all tourists passing by will take photos with the stone tablet engraved with the word "Qinling" and leave a lasting impression. Proof of a trip down here. Some people may ask, what kind of place is this that deserves to be visited by tourists passing by?
In fact, this watershed located in Fengyu Valley in Qinling Mountains is the watershed between the Yellow River and the Yangtze River in my country. To the south of the watershed is the waters of the Yangtze River, and to the north is the waters of the Yellow River. Standing here, I feel like I am crossing the north and the south with one foot. So when you get here, you must take pictures.
The reason why the Qinling Fengyu Watershed is so popular is because the place where it is located has always been a "holy place" for motorcycle tours and cyclists. In the past two years, it has also become a classic self-driving route.
The Qinling Mountains watershed is located at the highest point of National Highway 210, about 33 kilometers up the mountain from Fengyukou along National Highway 210. This distance may seem short, but even traveling by car is not very easy. Because about 28 kilometers of the more than 30 kilometers are uphill, with many curves and steep roads, experienced drivers must concentrate. Not to mention motorcycle tours and cycling!
However, the scenery along the 210 National Highway is very beautiful. It is located deep in the Qinling Mountains, with the Feng River flowing slowly along the way, and there are mountains and rivers. In addition, National Highway 210 has many steep bends, but the road condition is good, so it attracts many travelers who come here in various ways.
Xiaoyu drove to Fengyu Watershed one weekend. The scenery along the way was very beautiful. However, there are so many cars, especially near the watershed, that it is basically difficult to find a place to park, and the surrounding area is noisy and messy. However, this does not affect the mood of tourists, because everyone wants to get out of the car and take pictures.
Entering the mountain from Fengyukou to Fenshuiling, you will pass several scenic spots along the way. For example, there is Jingye Temple, the ancestral hall of Lu Zong, Longtan Water Playing Scenic Area, etc. There is also a classic hiking route for travellers.
After crossing the watershed, you will arrive at Ningshan Guanghuo Street at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains. It was once a prosperous commercial market town in the Qinling Mountains and one of the transportation chokepoints for Bashu to Guanzhong from the north and Huguang from the northwest to the south. Nowadays, although the prosperity is long gone, it is still the sentiment of many tourists, so it is good to visit.
When you arrive in Ningshan County, you will find Ankang. The tourism in Qinling County here has been developing well in the past two years, and several scenic spots have been created. It is also a good choice to come here to escape the summer heat.
The Qinling Mountains are so magical. After climbing over a mountain, we went from Xi'an to Ningshan, and from the north to the south. This is exactly why tourists want to come to Fengyu Watershed to check in.
