Dai Yu Beach is located at the mouth of Wanquan River. Speaking of the estuaries of rivers, people naturally think of the estuaries of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River, or the estuaries of the Nile River and the Amazon River. However, there is a 2.5-kilometer-long narrow sandbar at the mouth of Wanquan River, which spans between Wanquan River and the South China Sea, and that is Dai Yu Beach.
Dai Yu Beach is a natural beach peninsula with narrow terrain. As the South China Sea stretches as far as the eye can see, there is Wanquan River in it, and there are lakes and mountains in the Shamei Inland Sea, forming a unique landscape. Other landforms are similar to Miami in the United States, Cancun in Mexico and Gold Coast in Australia, which is unique in Asia. 1June, 1999, the northern part of Dai Yu Beach was recognized as "the highest in Guinness" by the authoritative organization of Guinness International Headquarters in China, and it was "the narrowest beach peninsula separating the sea and the river". Therefore, the northern part of Dai Yu Beach will completely maintain its original state and become the "best scenic spot" for tourists to visit.
When you set foot on Dai Yu Beach, you have to admire the wonders of nature. On the one hand, Wanquan River, Jiuqu River and Longgun River go out to sea, and on the other hand, the South China Sea is stormy, while the long and narrow Dai Yu beach lies quietly. Isn't it a miracle that a long and narrow beach has been washed away by rivers and oceans for thousands of years and lies firmly between them?
Standing on the beach of Dai Yu, facing the sea, you can see the endless South China Sea, with layers of white waves rushing under your feet. From a distance, the color of the sea water is divided into three layers: yellowish, light blue and deep blue, reaching the horizon. Fishing boats are scattered in the distance, and seagulls rise and fall nearby. This is a wonderful painting in the South China Sea.
Not far from Dai Yu Beach, there is a reef composed of many black boulders, which stands abruptly and abruptly in the waves of the South China Sea like an egg laying, and that is the sacred stone. Legend has it that it was a few pebbles accidentally spilled by the goddess while mending the sky. This stone has a god, so this geomantic treasure-house has chosen to settle here. For thousands of years, despite the wind and waves, it has been standing still, facing Dai Yu Beach. When I turned around, I saw Wanquan River, Jiuqu River and Longgun River meet, Yuanyang Island, Dongyu Island and Shapo Island are far away from each other, the water is covered with silver waves, the islands hold up green umbrellas, fishing songs come and go, and tourists are weaving.
