The origin of Zhaoyuan away from the river clock

The origin of Zhaoyuan clock leaving the river is related to the mysterious disappearance and reappearance of a big clock. It is said that in the summer of the 57th year of Kangxi, on the riverbank of a tributary of the boundary river, a big clock just cast by several craftsmen was suddenly washed away by the flood, and then a clock with the same shape was found, so people thought it was a mysterious clock leaving the river. This legend is the origin of Zhongli River in Zhaoyuan, which originated from Beizhaizi Village in Qishan Town, with a drainage area of11km2. The main river runs from Jinling Reservoir to Dujiaxi Village in Zhanghang Town, with a total length of 15.5km, and flows through Jinling Town, Zhanghang Town and xin zhuang zhen.
