Mingshan Forest Park 1
Siming Mountain is located in the west of Qidong and belongs to the remnant vein of Wuling Mountain. There are three peaks above 1000 meters above sea level, and the main peak Tengyunling is as high as 1044 meters, second only to Zhurong Peak in Nanyue, Hengyang. Climbing to the summit, you can see the four counties of Zero, Qi, Dong and Shao, so it is also called Mountain.
In 2003, geologists discovered graptolite in Siming Mountain, which is the fossil of Ordovician marine life more than 400 million years ago. This shows that Siming Mountain has stood proudly for more than 400 million years. Here, the peaks are beautiful, the trees are lush, and there are scenery in all seasons, just like painting a screen. Fairy plays chess, five women celebrate their birthdays, fairy combs her hair, the valley of desperate love, and the empress row all have beautiful legends. It can be said that the scenery moves from one place to another, which is interesting.
The beautiful and quiet Siming Mountain has always been regarded as a treasure trove of geomantic omen. In ancient times, there were 49 temples, including Siming Temple and Ziyun Temple. In the Tang Dynasty, Wang Sungui stayed in seclusion. Since ancient times, there have been many ancient and famous trees, rare birds and animals in Siming Mountain. It is said that when the Forbidden City in Beijing was built in the Ming Dynasty, a main beam of the Hall of Supreme Harmony was taken from Nanmu here.
In Datang Village, Siming Mountain, there are 14 ancient trees, all of which are over 300 years old. There are more than 10 species of precious tree species such as magnolia, ginkgo, nanmu, cash cow, Cyclocarya paliurus and Amorpha fruticosa in Siming Mountain, and dozens of animals such as fragrant cats, deaf pigs, monkey eagles and night crows are active all year round. In 2004, Siming Mountain was approved as a provincial forest park.
2? , Jidong Qingjiang Bridge?
Qidong Qingjiang Bridge is located in Chenglianwei Township, 53 kilometers west of the county seat, across the upper reaches of Qishui River. Qingjiang Bridge was named because of the clear water under the bridge. The whole bridge is a ***7 arch, also known as the Seven Arch Bridge. It was built in the middle of Qing Dynasty, about 200 years ago.
The whole bridge is 84 meters long, 5 meters wide and 9 meters high. There used to be a bridge pavilion on the bridge with 84 symmetrical wooden columns on both sides. If you look at Youlong from a distance, it's quite spectacular. Its length and number of arches rank first among the stone arch bridges in the county.
