To put it bluntly, the town objects are the objects that guard the house, such as the statue of Zhong Kui, the statue of Zhang Xian, the statue of Tianshi, etc. Another example is the word "福" in the middle hall, which means "one blessing suppresses all disasters" Meaning; the word "good" means "one good thing can dispel a hundred evils"; the word "god" means "one god can dispel a hundred evil spirits".
A variety of weapons also count, such as the Seven-Star Sword, the Green Dragon Sword, and the Ancient War Knife. The most ideal is a weapon used by a samurai, followed by a sword used by an executioner or a sword given by the emperor.
In addition, enshrining gods, Buddhist scriptures, Taoist scriptures, talismans, etc. in the family hall can also resist the invasion of evil spirits, which means "suppressing evil with good".
In addition to the above objects in the worship hall, there are also many small objects. The "Lu Ban Jing" records six items related to the Yangzhai town objects: one is Shanhaizhen, the other is Shi Gandang, and the third is Bagua. In the Tai Chi diagram, the fourth is the mirror in front of the door, the fifth is a good sign, and the sixth is the screen wall. At the same time, there are many local folk customs in various places.
In the early days, people used to use the town objects to seek good luck, avoid disasters, and turn misfortunes into blessings. However, as time went by, people used them to harm people, especially those buried underground. If you go down on the town object at once, no one else will know except the person who is going down. It is really impossible to hide. But you have to know that in thirty years in the east of Hedong and in thirty years in the west of Hexi, the town objects buried underground will disperse over time due to the wind and water in the ground, and they usually return to this house - the descendants of the ancestors Later generations will suffer. As the saying goes: It's not that you don't report, the time has not come yet.
