The origin of the name of Wang Teng Pavilion

In 639 AD, Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, was named Wang Teng because he was a native of Tengzhou, Shandong Province, and an attic named "Wang Tengge" was built in Tengzhou (destroyed).

In 659 AD, Li Yuanying, King Teng, was transferred to Hongzhou in the south of the Yangtze River (now Nanchang, Jiangxi Province) for secretariat. Because he missed his hometown Tengzhou, he built the famous "Wang Tengting".

Wang Tengting, one of the three famous buildings in the south of the Yangtze River, is located on the east bank of Ganjiang River, Jiang Yan Road, northwest of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. Historically, the Wang Teng Pavilion has been rebuilt 29 times, with repeated destruction and construction. Wang Bo, a poet in the early Tang Dynasty, wrote a poem "The sunset is lonely in Qi Fei, and the autumn water is * * * and the sky is one color", which became an eternal classic.
