According to Gansu Tongzhi, Lanzhou Fuzhi, Gaolan County, Yuzhong County and Jinxian County, Qingcheng was built by Di Qing, a general of the Song Dynasty, when he was patrolling the border of Qin Zhou. The Biography of Di Qing in the History of Song Dynasty also records: "Bao Yuan rebelled, Qing was ordered by Yanzhou, moved westward as an assistant to the Consul General, and served as the general manager of Jingyuan Road."
Qingcheng, formerly known as "One City", is about two miles long from east to west and narrow from north to south, hence the name. During the Republic of China, the folk abbreviation was "Tiaocheng". The east gate is called "Gongan Gate", and there is Chaoyang Pavilion on it, which is magnificent in structure and inscribed with "A Castle". The south gate is called Weiyuan Gate, and the door is the Confucian Temple. In memory of Di Qing, later generations called Tiaocheng "Qingcheng".
According to Qingcheng's Roche Genealogy, during Song Baoyuan's reign, Duke Di Wuxiang asked Qin Zhou for a secretariat. Mr. Luo Yuequan from Zhang Yu is Rusong Congyan's great-grandfather, and Wu Xiang was hired as a screen guest. Diwu Township patrolled the border to Dingyuan and built the city. Yue Quan helped open up wasteland because he lived in the city. Later, it was returned to, and the descendants of Sun Shouzhi moved back to Tiao. This is also one of the evidences for Di Qing to build Qingcheng Mountain.
