How to clean Passat radiator

You can go to a repair shop or a 4S shop to have it repaired. The cleaning method of the SULT server is as follows: 1. First, please make sure that the car engine has cooled down. Engine heat means that the water in the high-temperature water tank with high pressure is trapped by the radiator of the car, because opening the radiator cover is likely to burn. Cold water can also damage high-temperature engines. 2. Open the hood and fix it safely to prevent it from sliding accidentally. Then, gently wipe off the dirt accumulated on the radiator grille with a nylon brush and soapy water. Be sure to clean along the radiator texture, not the other way around. Because this metal is very brittle and easy to bend and deform. After cleaning the grating, drain the water with a hose and wash it slowly. So as to effectively clean all dirt; 3. The radiator cover consists of a flat metal cover at the top, a small rubber seal at the bottom and a spring connecting them. The tension between the spring and the rubber pad ensures the holding pressure of the cover plate. Assuming that they are compressed, the cover plate can no longer be used and must be replaced immediately. Another sign that the shell needs to be replaced is that the rubber sealing lead is rusted or hardened. Usually, the outer cover needs to be replaced at least once every two years; 4. This procedure mainly checks the radiator hose and clamp. There are two kinds of hoses. One is used to drain the hot water tank from the engine at the top of the radiator, and the other is used to flush the engine with the water tank at the bottom. In order to improve the drainage condition of the radiator, the hose must be replaced, so please check it before cleaning the engine. If the hose shows signs of rupture, leakage or rust of the clamp, please replace it immediately. When the pipeline becomes soft or melted, it is recommended to replace it with a new one. 5. In order to let the coolant flow to the drain pan under the car, turn the small piston. After all the liquid is discharged, restore the small cock to its original state and put it in a sealed container, and the funnel is filled with used coolant. Then put the drain pan back under the original small faucet; 6. Install the rubber hose on the nozzle, insert it into the radiator water supply port, and always fill it with water. Then open the small piston and let the water flow out of the plate. Repeat until the discharged water becomes clean, and put all the water for cleaning into a sealed container with a funnel; 7. Finally, air that may be trapped in the cooling system must be exhausted. Close the radiator cap and start the engine for about 15 minutes. Then turn on the heater to generate heat, the refrigerant begins to flow, and the trapped air diverges with the airflow. After the gas is removed, there is room, and more coolant can be put in soon.
