Sanming Yong 'an Dengyun Pagoda was built in Jingtai in the third year of Ming Dynasty (1452), which is the Kaixian Pagoda of Yong 'an. Dengyun Pagoda is an octagonal seven-story pavilion, with a masonry structure and a height of 28 meters. The side of the base is 3.8 meters long. Each floor is provided with a flat iron fence, and the tower wall is provided with two corresponding top doors, which are staggered layer by layer. There are two granite pagodas inlaid on the forehead. On the plaque, you can read the characters of "Dengyun Pagoda" in regular script. Glazed tiles are laid on the top of the tower, and railings are placed outside each tower.
In history, Dengyun Tower was destroyed by thunder and fire twice. Reconstruction in the 17th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1589); It was repaired twice in the eighth year of Qing Shunzhi (1651) and the twenty-second year of Kangxi (1683). Contemporary was overhauled in 1981.
In p>1984, the Dengyun Pagoda in Yong 'an, Sanming was listed as the first batch of county-level cultural relics protection units in Yong 'an.
