Causes and treatment methods of high water temperature in diesel vehicles

If the engine water temperature is too high, the thermostat may be damaged, there may be too much dirt on the surface of the water tank, or the electronic fan may be damaged. The solution is that when the engine water temperature is too high, you can stop driving, open the engine cover to dissipate heat for the engine, and then turn on the heating function.

Automobile engines are all water-cooled, and this kind of engine relies on coolant to circulate constantly in the engine, taking away excess heat.

There are two circulation paths of coolant in the engine, one is large circulation and the other is small circulation.

When the coolant circulates in a small range, usually the engine has just started, and the engine has not yet reached the normal working temperature, the coolant circulating in a small range can warm up the engine quickly. During the small cycle, the coolant will not flow through the radiator tank.

When the engine reaches the normal working temperature, the coolant will circulate greatly, and the coolant will dissipate heat through the radiator water tank.

If the thermostat is damaged and the coolant keeps circulating in a small range, the water temperature will be too high. The solution is to replace the thermostat. If there is too much dirt on the surface of radiator water tank, it will affect the cooling of coolant. The solution is to clean the dirt on the surface of water tank. If the electronic fan is damaged, it will also affect the heat dissipation of the water tank. The solution is to replace it with a new electronic fan.
