Wenfeng Pagoda, also known as Wenchang Pavilion and Wenkui Pagoda, is located at the junction of Beicunguan Lane and Buyun Lane. It was built in the 60th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (172 1). Wenfeng Pagoda was once the commanding height of the ancient Shawan, and entered from Jinshili Lane in Anning West Street. The tower, with six corners and three floors, is not only the geomantic architecture of Liugeng Hall of the Hezu nationality, but also the statue of "Wen Kuixing" enshrined in the tower, which was originally a god that rural scholars and children must come to worship at the beginning of winter school. The tower is intended to prosper the writing style of Shawan and inspire scholars to study hard and make progress.
