Zhang Xianzhong (1606-1646), also known as Bingwu. People from Yan'an. In the third year of Chongzhen (1630), he started an uprising in Mizhi, calling himself the Eight Great Kings, and was known as "Yellow Tiger". After the uprising, he conquered Fengyang, burned the emperor's mausoleum, broke through Kaixian County, and fell into Xiangyang, winning battles one after another. In the 16th year of Chongzhen's reign, he conquered Wuchang and became the King of Daxi. The following year, he established Daxi in Chengdu and became emperor, with the reign name of Dashun. In 1646, Qing troops went south and died in the battle at Fenghuang Mountain in Xichong.
