The scientific name of African rosewood is Tegugu Huang Mu. Its wood is porous, its surface heartwood has reddish-brown dark stripes, it has no special smell, its structure is stable and uniform, and it has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, strong hardness and large shrinkage. African rosewood mainly grows in the rainforests of West Africa and East Africa, as well as tropical areas such as Central Africa and West Africa.
Compared with African pear wood, Burmese pear wood has a clearer grain and a pattern similar to tiger skin on the surface, which is very unique and beautiful as a whole, and the wood color is reddish and fleshy. It has the characteristics of high density, strong hardness, uniform texture and strong stability. Most parts of Myanmar belong to tropical monsoon climate, so its environment is very suitable for the growth of rosewood in Myanmar.
