Second, avoid the sultry weather. Many experienced silver carp fishermen know that silver carp are not afraid of heat, but they are afraid of sultry weather. Stuffy, that is, low air pressure and lack of oxygen in water, silver carp is the least tolerant to lack of oxygen. Sometimes people still can't feel the breath, but silver carp no longer bites people. Most of the oxygen in water is produced by photosynthesis of aquatic flowers, and a small amount is dissolved from the air. There is no sunshine at night, photosynthesis fades, and oxygen in the water is either absorbed by fish or decomposed for other reasons. Therefore, during the period from midnight to dawn, oxygen in water is generally insufficient. If the weather is sultry and there is no wind, it may happen that silver carp floats on the water and sticks its mouth out of the water to supply oxygen from the air in a pool with high density of silver carp. If the hypoxia is serious, it will be coma and death. Go fishing for silver carp. If the weather is sultry, especially when it is wet and stuffy before a thunderstorm, silver carp generally won't bite. Even the bottom fish such as crucian carp and crucian carp have stronger tolerance to hypoxia than silver carp and bighead carp, but they will not bite people when the temperature is humid and sultry, and will be unconscious or die when the hypoxia is serious.
Third, avoid deep-water silver carp fishing. "Deep-water silver carp fishing" here means that it is not suitable to fish silver carp with bottom hooks in deep water. If the water level is 2.5~3 meters deep and more acidic bait is thrown, it is possible to lure silver carp to sink and eat. At this time, you can also catch silver carp with the bottom hook. It is impossible to catch silver carp beyond this depth or under deeper water. Especially in ponds with seeping cold springs, silver carp will not stay underwater. Silver carp is a pelagic fish and likes high temperature. The water temperature in deep water is lower than the water surface, so silver carp will swim to the water surface. Moreover, the water temperature is high, all kinds of ephemera and plants gather on the water, and silver carp and bighead carp still prey here. Therefore, deep-water fishing for silver carp and bighead carp must be floated, and the fishing depth should be selected according to the surface temperature of the water. If the water surface temperature is too high, the bait should be placed at 1~ 1.5 meters above the water surface, and this depth should be determined according to the specific conditions of each sea area. For example, fishing with multiple fishing rods can be done in several places.
Fourth, avoid sour taste. This mainly refers to fishing silver carp with fishy bait. When it comes to bait that can catch silver carp and bighead carp, some fishing enthusiasts have a misunderstanding: the more sour the bait, the worse it smells. So they turned their eyes to these strange things. If some people use vinegar essence, citric acid and other chemical products when looking for sour substances, or even use human and animal feces as bait when using smelly substances, it is really not desirable. These things carry many germs, which can easily infect fishermen, and these dirty things will cause environmental pollution and hinder civilized fishing. Some people accidentally catch silver carp with a strong sour bait, but it is not a good bait after all. Silver carp and bighead carp like fishy bait. When fishy bait is used, its fishy degree is also affected by the temperature at that time and the fatty degree of the water in the fishing area. The temperature is high, and the silver carp is soaked in fat water, and the acidity is slightly stronger. Due to the different conditions of fishing grounds, every time fishermen go fishing in a new sea area, they must first make a small amount of bait for trial fishing, and adjust the acidity according to the situation of fish biting.
