Waste gas. But it’s cheaper than turning on the air conditioner.
For ordinary family cars, heating is more fuel-efficient than air conditioning. It uses more heat from the engine itself. Car heating systems include:
1. Water-heated heating system, the heat source comes from engine cooling. Liquid and water-heated heating systems are mostly used in cars, large trucks and buses with low heating requirements.
The water heating heating system mainly consists of a heater, a hot water regulating valve, a blower, a control panel, etc. Among them, the blower consists of an adjustable-speed DC motor and a squirrel-cage fan. Its function is to blow the cold air towards the heater, and then the cold air is heated and sent into the car.
Adjusting the speed of the motor can adjust the amount of air supplied to the cabin.
2. Air-heating heating system, the heat source comes from the engine exhaust system. Air-heated heater systems are mostly used in air-cooled engine cars.
In the heat exchanger type heating system, the hot air in the exhaust pipe is introduced into the heat exchanger. The cold air blown by the blower absorbs the heat after the heat exchanger and is introduced into the car for heating or defrosting.
3. Heat pipe heating system. The heat pipe heat exchanger is installed vertically in the floor of the carriage. Above the floor is the condensation and heat release section, and below the floor is the exhaust gas heating section.
Introduce the exhaust gas from the automobile engine exhaust pipe into the heat pipe exchanger. The heat pipe exchanger is filled with liquid ammonia. After being heated, the liquid ammonia vaporizes and reaches the upper part of the heat pipe exchanger to exchange heat with the air for heating. Air coming in from vents.
After the air is heated, it is blown into the cabin by the blower for heating. After the heat is released, the ammonia gas condenses and flows back to the lower part, and then completes the next working cycle.
Extended information
Fuel gas heating system: A heating system that uses fuel to directly heat the air is called a fuel gas heating system.
Independent combustion heating system: The heat source comes from the heat of special fuel combustion. Independent combustion heating systems are mostly used in buses.
Integrated preheating warm air system: The heat source comes from two aspects: the heat of the engine coolant and the heat of the special fuel combustion device. Comprehensive preheating heater systems are mostly used on buses.
