Brief introduction of Taizhou economic development zone
Taizhou Economic Development Zone, Zhejiang Province, founded on1October 30th, 1997, is a provincial economic development zone, a provincial Taiwanese investment zone and a provincial high-tech industrial park. It is the window of new Taizhou's opening to the outside world, the carrier of economy at the same level, the leader of regional economy, the core area of central city and the forerunner of system reform. The planned total area of the Development Zone is 73.9 square kilometers, which is divided into two areas: the East Zone is about 16 square kilometers, which is an industrial science and technology park, mainly technology-intensive and export-oriented, with all kinds of modern manufacturing and processing industries that meet the requirements of environmental protection, high-tech industrial park, Taizhou Economic Development Zone Entrepreneurship Center, Taiwanese investment park, electromechanical industrial park and overseas students' pioneer park. The west area includes the core area of the central city of 3 square kilometers, as well as the surrounding residential areas and education areas. The urban core area is composed of administrative and cultural center, financial and business center, sports center and auxiliary landscape axis, which is the core block with the densest flow of people, technology, information and capital in new Taizhou.
