In the process of Liu Bang's establishment of the Han Dynasty, Han Xin made great contributions. It is no exaggeration to say that one-sixth of the territory of Han was shot down by Han Xin, and even Liu Bang gave him a gold medal to avoid death. Although Han Xin was very talented, he was later killed by Lv Hou, so some people said that Han Xin should have lived to be over 60 years old because he buried his mother alive.
Han Xin, a native of Huaiyin County, Jiangsu Province, was very poor since childhood. He lives with his mother. 10 years old, herding sheep for the rich. Then one day, he drove the sheep to eat grass in Jiulishan and fell asleep in a tree. When he was in a daze, he heard someone say, "This kid really knows how to find a place. The place where he sleeps is a land of feng shui. If you can bury your parents there, you can become a monarch.
After hearing this, Han Xin lied to his mother that a sheep had fallen into the pit and asked her to help him get it out. Han Xin's mother didn't doubt her son, so she followed him out. Then she fell into the deep pit dug by her son, and Han Xin took the opportunity to bury her mother alive.
However, there is another version, which says that Han Xin cut off her mother's hair and nails and buried them there, instead of in her body, so Han Xin was able to rise to the top.
Personally, I prefer to believe in the second version. After all, if a child of 10 can bury his mother alive, then the child may not be too cruel.
