At the southern foot of Panlong Mountain, there is a beautiful village-Anjialin. There is a beautiful legend about Panlong Mountain among the villagers: A long time ago, Li Anjia in the village had a big official who was prominent in the court for a while. However, because of the gang struggle in the imperial court, the opposing gangs found a feng shui expert in the south and came to Anjialing Village where Panlong Mountain was located to check the feng shui. As a result, as soon as the Feng Shui master set foot on this land, he was immediately shocked: the dragon head was high above, and the dragon body and tail went straight into the Miluo River, just like a dragon taking off! So, a group of opposing people sought a solution. Master Feng Shui said that Long Mai must be cut off. So, they quickly found a lot of people to destroy the feng shui here overnight and split the dragon head and the dragon body in two. In this way, the faucet will not come off and really become "Wolong".
Now climbing the mountain overlooking the northwest, it is clear where the dragon head is broken. The cut-off place has always been called "post-descending ditch" by local villagers, which means "descending dragon ditch from behind".
Panlong Mountain is not only like a dragon, but also has two longan trees with a diameter of about two meters, like a pair of blinking eyes. As for whether this pair of "longan" is naturally formed or artificially carved, there is no textual research.
