1. Dragon column. This is the most famous legend in Shanghai, and many people know it. Forget the specific story, it is estimated that it can be found online. This matter is on record, and it is on file in the municipal company and the city government. A friend who used to be a city secretary has experienced this personally. It should be noted that the dragon originally suppressed something, and the dragon also replaced it to guard it, but it is not clear what it suppressed.
2. Let's start with the three major monasteries in Shanghai. The first is Longhua Temple. Next to the temple is the Martyrs' Cemetery, which used to be the execution ground. Both revolutionaries and Jiang Yang thieves died there, so the spirit of yin death is very heavy. The tower of Longhua Temple is not within the scope of the temple, far from the main hall, and tourists are forbidden to climb the tower. It is said that this situation was caused by road construction in the late Qing Dynasty, but this is unreasonable. The tower and the temple should have been together. Don't road builders understand? There are rumors in the circle that the Longhua Pagoda is actually suppressing the gate of hell, while the Longhua Temple is defusing the overflowing ferocity. Longhua is more peach trees, and peach trees are the most evil spirits.
3. Jing 'an Temple. Jing 'an Temple, located in the center of Shanghai, has never been moved, and its scale has even expanded. The temple is also a rare tantric temple in the Central Plains. Metro Line 2 was originally planned to pass under the temple, but during the construction, Gu Quan was dug under the temple, which was a piece of news and can be verified. It is said that the Gu Quan guardrail is engraved with scripture runes, and some experts say that the underground spring is for the dead, and it must be suppressed by the tantric temple that has demonized, and it must not be moved. So the subway was diverted and passed by, and Gu Quan was not developed into a tourist attraction, but was silent under the intentional action.
4. Jade Buddha Temple. Jade Buddha Temple is located at the junction of Shanghai Huajie (Zhabei) and Gongx Concession (Jing 'an and Huangpu). In the construction of the concession in 1882, a stone tablet was dug up at the junction with Zhabei, which is said to be engraved with many runic patterns. Then an outbreak of plague (cholera, it seems) killed many people. At this time, Master Huigen of Putuo Mountain welcomed five jade buddhas back to Putuo, passing through Shanghai. When he saw it, he said that this stone tablet was a monument to the soul, and he saw it as a great murderer. So he did a ritual, buried the stone tablet underground again, and left a jade Buddha and saw the temple, which is the Jade Buddha Temple. It is said that this monument is still under the temple.
5. People's Square was originally a wasteland. Later, a racecourse was built and became a square after liberation. No one has ever lived here. Later, the Shanghai Museum was built in the shape of a tripod, with eight statues of evil spirits at the back door. Shanghai and the municipal government are far apart, flanking the whole square. An old gentleman in the geomantic circle said that the tripod is used for repression, while government agencies are the most powerful and can break all evils. What are these two suppressing? He didn't say anything, only that people should never live there. I asked, if there are ominous things under the People's Square, why did you build three subway interchange stations and a huge underground shopping mall? Aren't you afraid of accidents? The old man said that the ferocity of that thing under the square is unparalleled, and it is not enough to suppress it by relying solely on the massiness of Shanghai Expo and the prestige of the municipal government. It also needs a huge amount of mobile strangers' yang to work together, so. It has been built as it is now, and the racecourse was built with the same intention, but it was buried deeply. Under this operation, there is no threat now.
6. Next to the People's Square, there is a tall building called Tomorrow Square, which is very strange in shape. Not only are the upper and lower parts staggered, but there are also hollow spires and upright spheres. The structural roads in this building are also very circuitous, and it is easy to get lost. However, after listening to the old gentleman's advice, I realized that this building is actually a shape of a tantric magic diamond, which was secretly invested by the municipal government to find someone to build, and it is understandable that it is located in the fierce white tiger position just west of People's Square.
7. During the Battle of Songhu, Chinese and Japanese troops invested more than one million people in Shanghai. According to Li Zongren's personal statement, Duke Jiang knew that Shanghai could not be saved. However, Duke Jiang bought time by sacrificing his life. It took him three months to protect something in Shanghai. After the Japanese occupied Shanghai, he got nothing. At the same time, some Japanese documents pointed out that before the meeting, Abe advised the Japanese government that it was necessary to occupy Shanghai to "serve the devil." (The details are unknown, and this rumor is not credible.)
8. As an international metropolis, Shanghai is crowded with people and materialistic, with serious environmental pollution. It stands to reason that such a place should be lacking or even exhausted. But in fact, according to people who practice Tantric Buddhism, Shanghai has an unexpectedly strong aura, which is impossible in other metropolises. But at the same time, it is also said that this aura is not naturally produced, but artificially gathered, and its specific function is unknown. It is very likely that it is used to suppress something on an unprecedented array.
These are all secret stories and big events regardless of Shanghai. As for the supernatural and haunted urban legends, they don't rank at all. Those things abound. Before that, one of these things went wrong, and I'm afraid Shanghai would be unimaginable. Not to scare friends in Shanghai, but to tell everyone that the so-called magic capital is really a magic capital! Fortunately, we have to deal with it now, and mortals like you and me can't afford any tricks. Let's rest assured.
