Zhoujia Courtyard is located in Wenchang Lane, Fengxiang District, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. It is the old house of Zhou Jia, the greatest wealth of Xifu in Shaanxi Province in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. It was built in the late Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 300 years.
As for the family background of Zhou Jia, as early as Xifu, there were "Zhou Deng's family of Fengxiang and Guo Song's family of Qishan", and "Zhou Deng's family of Guo Song" was the four famous families of Fengxiang and Qishan. According to Fengxiang County Records, Zhoujiayuan was built in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, with east-west distribution: East Courtyard, Intermediate Court and West Courtyard. Full of green, around the Third Hospital, has an original total area of more than 20,000 square meters, of which the building area is 1 10,000 square meters. Zhou Jia has abundant funds, mainly engaged in medicinal materials, and its business is distributed in Hanzhong, Guangyuan and Chengdu. However, historical data show that the Zhou family has been an official for generations. In the early years of the Republic of China, the Zhou family was blackmailed by warlords and went bankrupt.
In 2008, Zhoujia Courtyard was fortunate to be listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province by the provincial government. Later, with the support and help of various social forces, the compound was carefully renovated and opened to people on 20 13, and now it has attracted a large number of tourists to visit and enjoy it.
