It seems that you don't have much contact with Buddhism, and each has its own karma. When it's okay, it doesn't matter to you that the Buddha statue in your neighbor's house doesn't exist. When there is a problem that cannot be solved by manpower, if you are willing, you may wish to pray in the direction of the neighbor shrine and pray for the blessing of the Buddha.
In a word, the neighbor's offering Buddha is only good for you, not bad.
