Lecture on the History of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom (3) Zhang Zongyu and Koenigma

The year of birth and death is to be tested. Born in Luoheji, Bozhou (now Yang Guo, Anhui), he was a famous general of Nian Army and commander-in-chief of Xi Nian Army in the late Qing Dynasty. At the beginning, I took part in the Nian Army Uprising with my uncle and big fellow leader Zhang Lexing. Later, he moved to Jiangsu, Henan, Shaanxi, Hubei and Anhui, and was named monarch by Liang Wang of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. 1864, Lai Wenguang, king of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, reorganized the Nian Army, with cavalry as the main force and infantry as the cooperation, and made mobile operations. 1865, Sang Linqin, the king of Horqin, Mongolia, was completely annihilated, and the blockade of Zeng Guofan, the Xiang army, was shattered. 1866, he led the Xi Nian army from Henan to Shaanxi to unite with the Huimin army. 1867 1 month, the Qing army was defeated in Xi 'an Baqiao. In February of the same year, in order to help Lai, he led the Dongnian army south from northern Shaanxi, passed through Shaanxi to Zhili, forced Jinnan, and was surrounded by the Qing army. Missing,1April, 868, surrounded by Li Hongzhang and Zuo, it was completely annihilated in a narrow strip with alkali river in the north, yellow river in the south, canal in the west and sea in the east. Zhang Zongyu fled overnight and lived in seclusion in KongZhuangzi, Nandagang Management Zone. He died anonymously as a Boy Scout 20 years later. During this period, he made a living by practicing medicine and watching Feng Shui, and revealed his real name when he died.
