Ecological sensitive areas refer to those areas that are easily affected by improper human development activities and have negative ecological effects. Zhangbagui Garden is a mountainous forest area, located in Shehong County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Forest areas are particularly rich in biodiversity and natural landscape resources, and are easily influenced by factors, so they belong to ecologically sensitive areas.
In order to protect the vegetation and wildlife resources of Zhangba longan forest, Shehong county government has formally established Zhangba longan forest reserve on 1999, and has taken measures to formulate protective management measures such as prohibiting grazing, establishing forest sightseeing centers, logging and wildlife collection, so as to protect the natural environment and biological resources in this area.
