Puyang's place to see Mr. Feng Shui

"Left Qinglong, right white tiger; South Suzaku, North Xuanwu. " After thousands of years of development, China people have established a complete academic system, in which the Qinglong is the East and the White Tiger is the West. From a deeper level, the dragon belongs to Yang, and the dragon is born in the fire. Tigers are yin, born in water, one yin and one yang, depicting two instruments. Thirty years ago, in China, experts discovered an ancient tomb containing two magical shell sculptures, which triggered a discussion among archaeologists. What happened?

1987 in may, Puyang city in the eastern Henan plain was in midsummer, and the dazzling sunshine did not stop the construction workers from working. They plan to build a regulating pond for water supply from the Yellow River in Zhongyuan Chemical Fertilizer Plant. Puyang is located in the active area of ancient relics, so an archaeological team conducted routine inspection before the construction, originally just to ensure the smooth progress of the construction. As a result, when the investigation team inspected the southwest of the regulating pool, it was found that there were probably sites buried underground. When the deepest cultural layer was removed, people were surprised to find that it was actually an ancient relic, and archaeologists found many ancient tombs in it, the most amazing of which was tomb M45.

Tomb 45 is a vertical cave tomb with pits, with a length of 4. 1m from north to south and a width of 3. 1m from east to west. First of all, its shape is very strange. It is round in the north and round in the south, with a pair of small arc niches on the east and west sides. The owner of the tomb is a male, with his head facing south and his feet facing north, lying on his back in the tomb. After isotope detection with carbon 14, it is determined that all the sites belong to about 4500 BC, with a history of more than 6000 years. The most amazing thing about Tomb 45 is that there is a pile of plastic mussels around the owner.

On both sides of the tomb owner, there are actually two piles of plastic mussels. They are not painted, but put out bit by bit with clam shells. On the left is the shape of a dragon, and on the right is the image of a white tiger. Their heads are facing north and their legs are facing outward, as if to wrap the tomb owner tightly. Under the head of the dragon and tiger, there is a pile of triangular mussels at the foot of the tomb owner, as if the dragon and tiger are chasing. After the composition identification of archaeologists, this sculpture of dragon, tiger and clam belongs to a rare cultural relic, and the archaeologists were amazed when they saw it.

Although the experts are well informed, in their view, this tomb is also novel and unprecedented, and it is simply a mystery. Why did the tomb owner design a sculpture of dragon, tiger and clam in his tomb? And tigers can understand, after all, we have all seen tigers, but do dragons really exist? If it didn't exist, why did the ancients easily create the image of a dragon more than 6,500 years ago? Qinglong and Baihu, two ancient beasts, correspond to the four elephants in the sky. They can understand these truths and design their cemeteries so exquisitely. What is the identity of the tomb owner?

There are three opinions about the identity of the tomb owner: Zhuan Xu, Fuxi and Chiyou. Zhuan Xu, grandson of the Yellow Emperor, was one of the founders of the humanities in China. It is said that Zhuan Xu is the god in charge of the north. He formulated the ancient calendar of four seasons, created Kyushu, composed Chengyun, and set a precedent for future generations in many aspects. Zhuan Xu was buried in Dunqiu, Puyang.

Fuxi is one of Huang San, and Chu Silk Book records that he is a creator. It is said that Fuxi created gossip and Taoism in China. So from the perspective of geomantic omen, Fuxi is probably the tomb, and today's Fuxi Mausoleum is also in Henan Province, not far from Puyang. Theoretically, the owner of the tomb may also be Fuxi.

Chiyou is the chief of the ancient Jiuli tribe. He led the tribe to develop agriculture, smelt copper and iron, enlighten the future and rationally educate the people. Legend has it that Chiyou is liu er with four eyes and a cow's hoof. He is proficient in witchcraft and likes fighting. Finally, he was killed by the Yellow Emperor, so it is very likely that Chiyou was buried here.

With the development of the times, science and technology will inevitably make continuous progress. Although the things in the ancient tomb are strange, archaeologists will definitely make a deeper study of the ancient tomb. I believe that one day, we can find out the real owner of Tomb 43, and all the mysteries will eventually disappear.
