Jinping, my hometown, is a beautiful Dong village, and it is also a land with mountains and waters. Deep in the mountains, three small rivers divide Jinping City into three small towns. They are like boat-shaped islands, and the crystal clear river slowly passes through the city. The three towns are connected by Qingjiang Bridge, Xiaojiang Stone Arch Bridge and Chixiping Wind and Rain Bridge. My favorite is Chixiping Wind and Rain Bridge, which has the most Dong village style.
Chixiping Wind and Rain Bridge is a "Gu Lou Bridge" composed of five mahogany pavilions and mahogany fences. The bridge deck is covered with bluestone slabs with uniform specifications. On both sides of the bridge are bluestone railings, which are carved with patterns such as "dragon playing with pearls", "dragon robbing treasure" and "Feng Dan facing the sun". There are five or six steps in the middle in the shape of a bud. Two pairs of stone lions guard both ends of the bridge like mighty soldiers.
On both sides of the bridge are oil paintings and two rows of neat lanterns, which add a lot of quaint and mysterious colors to Yufeng Bridge. At night, the red, yellow and green lights on the storm bridge light up together. Storm Bridge is like two colorful dragons lying in the air.
The most lively is the Spring Festival! At night, the wind and rain bridge is crowded with people from all walks of life, especially children, who come to set off fireworks. There is laughter everywhere. It's time, everyone began to set off fireworks, so that fireworks can decorate the rain bridge more beautifully. I love the bridge in my hometown!
