Laoliang Li Ka-shing Ma Yunfeng Shui

Li Ka-shing presented a couplet to Ma Yun in the office, which was a poem written by Confucian general Zuo in Wuxi Meiyuan, Jiangsu Province in the Qing Dynasty:

Make a first-class wish, make a middle-class wish, and enjoy the next blessing;

Choose a high place, find a flat place and live in a wide place.

Li Ka-shing said: These 24 words are the motto of my life:

Make a good wish-and be kind to the feelings of the world to save the world. As a great cause, help the world like a Buddha.

Moderate fate-different life experiences, remain indifferent and treat with a normal heart.

Enjoy the bad blessings-cherish the blessings, not extravagant indulgence, but cherish a porridge, a meal and a wisp.

Choose a high place to stand-aim high, walk high, look to the horizon and see the scenery.

On an equal footing-be steady and modest in life, calm in heart, noble in character, and take care of all directions.

Be lenient with others-be kind, be kind, take a broad road and let people get along with you.
