Yuelu Academy is located on the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Located in the national 5A scenic spot: Yuelu Mountain Scenic Spot. As one of the four famous ancient academies in China, it is now an important scenic spot in Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area.
Lijiang Academy is located in Zhuzhou, Hunan. Li Kuan, a native of Guangzhou, built a house at the top of the mountain and studied in it. In 978 AD, during the period of Xingguo in Song Taiping, Li Kuan, a famous figure in Hengzhou, built a house next to the realistic view of Shigu Mountain and was named "Shigu Academy".
Yehou Academy, formerly known as Nanyue Academy, is located near Nanyue City. Yehou Academy, formerly known as Duanyan, is the secluded place of Li Mi, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty, under the misty peak.
Liyang Academy is located in Lizhou (now Lixian), Hunan Province. In the 28th year of Guangxu (1902), it was changed to a middle school, and a primary school was established the following year. In the Republic of China, it was changed to Lixian Middle School.
