Complete works of Zeng Guofan's Feng Shui teaching videos

Feng Shui is a mysterious thing, which can be described as "believing in it rather than believing in it". Zeng Guofan was a complete Neo-Confucianism. He always holds the attitude of "unknown life, how to know death" to ghosts and gods, and holds a disapproving attitude to the mysterious thing of Feng Shui. However, when he heard the story of his great grandfather, he had to believe in the magic of Feng Shui.

Zeng Guofan was born in the "Great World Zeng Family" in Hunan. This family has been farming for generations and has never had any prominent figures. Zeng Guofan's great-grandfather named Zeng Jingxi was just an ordinary farmer. When Zeng Guofan was 5 years old, Zeng Jingxi died. He found a place in Lotus Leaf Town, Shenchong Taixi, and was buried there.

On the whole, the place where Zeng Jingxi was buried looks like a chicken, and the grave is buried on the chicken's head. Behind the tomb is a long and narrow mountain, like a chicken neck. Behind the narrow mountain, there is a rectangular hill, like a chicken; On both sides of the rectangular hill, there are two fan-shaped mountains, just like chicken wings. In front of the head of a chicken is a small river called "Ploughhead Mouth". There is a fertile field by the river.

On the night of the burial, there was a sudden shower in the local area, which was very big and urgent. The rain lasted for three days, which led to flash floods. The crops and soil in the field before the "chicken head" were washed away by water, and the field was full of white sand and fine stones. After the rain stopped, a feng shui gentleman happened to pass by Zeng Jingxi's tomb. He took out his compass and looked at the geomantic omen in the cemetery. He couldn't help but be surprised: "Blessed are the descendants of this tomb owner!"

It turned out that Zeng Jingxi's tomb inadvertently formed a top feng shui-golden rooster pecking rice. Later, Mr. Feng Shui told the Zeng family that it was good to protect the cemetery and it was best to buy the land in front of the tomb.

Soon after, the fate of the Zeng family really changed. Zeng Linshu, the grandson of Zeng Guofan's father Zeng Jingxi, is a 43-year-old boy. He passed 16 and still failed. After his grandfather was buried, he took part in the quiz of 17, and eventually became the first scholar of "Da Jie Zeng" for hundreds of years.

Subsequently, the Zeng family was out of control, and many big names were born at once. In the past 50 years, Zeng Guofan and Zeng Guangjun have emerged one after another, with as many as 20 scholars, including Juren, Yougong and Scholar. Until today, there are still many great celebrities who are active in scientific research, education and other fields.

Zeng Guofan did not believe in geomantic omen in his early years. He thinks that Feng Shui is nothing but superstition. But after his grandmother was buried, Zeng Guofan became a "Feng Shui fan". It turned out that after his grandmother was buried, Zeng Guofan was lucky again and again, and his official position was second to none, not to mention his grandfather who had been ill for a long time. It is said that grandma is buried in a treasure house of geomantic omen. Zeng Guofan said in a letter to his family that his grandmother's grave "is famous for its good geomantic omen and cannot be reburied. If you are buried again, it will be ominous and unfilial. " It is for this reason that Zeng Guofan, who is "the least believer in Feng Shui on weekdays", began to believe in Feng Shui theory.

From then on, Zeng Guofan chose a cemetery for himself in Jinpenling, Hunan. Why did you choose this place? There used to be a Tongxi Temple near this mountain, which was named after the dense tung forest behind the mountain, the gurgling stream in front of the temple, the beautiful scenery and the elegant environment. Tongxi Temple, formerly known as "xingguo temple", is said to have been built by Zen master Zhen Lang in Tang Dynasty. After the temple was destroyed, it was rebuilt in the Song Dynasty and was called "Long Fu Temple". By the end of the Ming Dynasty, the temple was destroyed again. In the Qing Dynasty, Jing Tianyan was renamed "Tongxi Temple" in response to the Zen master's fund-raising and reconstruction. Zeng Guofan was defeated by the Taiping Army and was depressed. He had a good time here, and his mood was suddenly enlightened by the guidance of the abbot of the local temple. So Zeng Guofan hopes to be buried here in a hundred years.

After Zeng Guofan was buried in Jinpenling, he did not get a lasting rest. In fact, he only preserved it temporarily. Two years after his burial, his wife, Mrs Ouyang, died, and his eldest son, Ceng Jize, moved to his father and was buried with his mother at the southern foot of Fulongshan Mountain in Xiangxi, Huashan County, which is now the southern foot of Fulongshan Mountain in Tongxi Village, Pingtang Town, Wangcheng County. Later, the mountain was renamed Lion Peak. Since then, Zeng Guofan's tomb has been stolen many times, but it has not been seriously damaged because of the firm construction of the cemetery.

The so-called "one life, two luck and three feng shui". Judging from the development of the Zeng family, in addition to personal efforts, things like metaphysics seem to have really played a great role.
