I think we can divide it into several aspects
1. Painting style
There is no doubt that the painting style of most Chinese comics is the same as that of Japanese comics. The style is incompatible, not only in the shape of the characters, but also in the natural feel of the surrounding environment, buildings and landscapes. To be honest, among the creative elements of Chinese comics, more three-dimensional animation effects are adopted, probably specifically for the purpose of pursuing realism. However, the producers have overlooked one of the biggest problems, that is, the most natural scenes are often depicted in a two-dimensional way and with freehand techniques, so that they can be more fresh and refined!
Many times, Chinese comic works give us the feeling that we are not appreciating an anime, but watching a game cutscene CG plot performance. Most of those characters and scenes are highly beautiful. Polished and it looks too fake to be honest! Although there has indeed been great progress, Xiao K would rather choose Japanese comics with comfortable drawing styles than the natural and pleasant two-dimensional Japanese comics.
2. The length of the plot
Our Chinese comic has a characteristic in the plot arrangement. I don’t know if you have noticed it, that is, it often makes people think that this is a " "In This Lifetime" work, because only one episode is released every week, and it is based on the plot of the novel. However, there is a very long story line in the novel, so many netizens feel that they cannot wait for this anime. The day it ended, it was called the "Lifetime" series. The Japanese comics themselves are their own original works. Either everyone does not know the plot and does not know when it will end, so naturally they will not feel that it is too far away. Or there are short Japanese comics, where the story is clearly explained and then ends, in twenty or thirty episodes. Without being muddled, "Another" is a short classic Japanese comic.
And there is an absolute production gap between our Chinese comics and Japanese comics, because we only release one episode a week. Excluding the opening and ending songs, there is only about ten minutes left, and Japanese comics can have two episodes a week or more, and excluding the opening and ending songs, the plot time can reach nearly 20 minutes! This problem has always been a pain in the heart for Chinese comic fans!
3. Originality of the story
The reason why we like to read Japanese comics is largely due to the originality of Japanese cartoonists. This is true. If you don’t believe me, we can take a look. How many of these popular classic Japanese comics are adapted from novels? Works such as "Dragon Ball", "Slam Dunk", "Saint Seiya" and "Bleach" have been circulated for so many years. Why are they still topics that people talk about after dinner?
Looking at our Chinese comics, although Xiao K admits that he has indeed achieved things on the screen that he could not do in previous years, but to be honest, our Chinese comics can really only move the novel to Come on the screen? I admit that works such as "Fights Break the Sky", "Douluo Dalu", "Full-time Master" and "Full-time Mage" have a lot of appeal, but are they original? The audience knows that this is just a dream come true for fans of these novels. The excellent Chinese comics that more of us are looking forward to are the soft style of painting like that of Mr. Hayao Miyazaki, or the Conan written by Mr. Gosho Aoyama. Average, fascinating characters!
4. The importance of BGM
In Chinese comics, the BGM often adopts the style of our classical musical instruments. Little K has to admit that sometimes some of our music is inserted It is true that folk songs appear very traditional and solemn when incorporated into animation, but blindly using classical instruments is a bit monotonous, isn't it? For example, for the BGM in the fighting scenes, we can completely replace those slow-paced folk songs with heavy metal rock music or rap!
Looking at Japanese comics, such as "Bleach", every time Kurosaki Ichigo is about to show off his power, or when the power in his body awakens and prepares for a battle, the song "Number One" will come out directly. It boosted the atmosphere of the whole place and allowed me, the spectator outside the screen, to feel the aura exuding from Ichigo Kurosaki! In fact, BGM is nothing more than stimulating your mood to interact with the protagonist at the necessary moment. It is blindly quiet and elegant, which will only make us feel hypnotic!
Of course, the above points are just what Xiao K thinks are the biggest differences between Chinese comics and Japanese comics, and they are also the reasons why we like Japanese comics. I wonder if they have been mentioned in your hearts? Xiao K also wants to know your thoughts on Chinese comics and Japanese comics. Please tell Xiao K in the message area what you think is the difference between Japanese comics and Chinese comics, and tell me why you like Japanese comics!
