Among the hundreds of mountains in Taiwan Province, Jade Mountain, Snow Mountain, Xiugu Mountain, Nanhu Mountain and Peking University are also called "Five Mountains", which are the five most representative mountains in Taiwan Province Province. Yushan is majestic and stands on one side. Sometimes it snows in winter, which is as white as jade from a distance and has beautiful scenery, so "Jade Mountain Snow" has become one of the eight scenic spots in Taiwan. 1985 On April 10, the vicinity of Yushan Group Peak was included in the newly established Yushan National Park. Yushan Mountain is the sacred mountain of Bunun and Zou, and it is also one of the symbols of contemporary Taiwan Province Province. Known as "the heart is pure jade, and the righteousness is as heavy as a mountain".
Yushan Scenic Area is divided into four areas:
Northwest Park is located in the northwest of Yushan Park, including Xinzhongheng Highway, Tatajia, Dongpu, Guan 'ao, Batongguan, the main peak of Yushan and Nanxilin Road.
Southern Park is located in the southwest of Yushan Park, including areas along Nanheng Highway, Meishan-Tianchi-Zhongzhiguan-Yakou, Nanheng Sanshan and Guanshan.
Eastern Park is located in the southeast of Yushan Park, including South Bank, Shanfeng, Warami, Oita and Xinkangshan.
The core area of the mountain is located in the northeast and central part of Yushan Park, including Dashui Cave, Xiugu Mountain, Mabolas Mountain, Tafen Mountain and Maxi Mountain.
The strata that make up the Yushan Mountains are older in geological age. However, the adjacent rock strata in Alishan Mountain range are mostly sandstone, shale and sand shale interbeds with younger geological age. Some geologists infer from the continuous characteristics of geological times and the geological evidence of many large faults between the two mountains that the Alishan Mountains were originally located in the Yushan Mountains. Due to the push of the plate, the height of the mountain reached 10 thousand meters, and then it broke due to the strong extrusion of the eastern plate. The younger strata above slide westward to form the Alishan Mountains, and the older strata below form the Yushan Mountains.
The planned recreation spots and tourist centers of Yushan National Park are Tataga Tourist Center on Xinzhongheng Highway, Meishan Tourist Center on Nanheng Highway and Yuli and Nan 'an Tourist Center in the east, which are the best places for ordinary tourists to know the whole picture of Yushan National Park. Mountaineering activities are concentrated in Yushan, Dongpu-Batongguan Ancient Road, Nan 'an-Walami and the east and west exits of Guanshan, Taguanshan, Guanshanling and Xiangyang Mountain of Nanheng Highway.
There is a Paiyun Villa in Ma 'an Valley between the main peak of Yushan Mountain and Xifeng Mountain, which is the only hotel in the mountainous area. However, due to the large number of people climbing Yushan Mountain and the limited capacity of villas, it is difficult to obtain beds. At the foot of Yushan Mountain in Taiwan Province Province, a yellow local jade is produced. Its color is pure without impurities, some are as clear as ice, and some are as rich as glutinous rice juice. Because its color is like orange meat, it is called orange stone. In ancient times, oranges were considered as a symbol of health, wealth and happiness, so Feng Shui masters often used orange stones. At the foot of Yushan Mountain, there is a place that specializes in trading orange stones. Citrus stones are traded according to their transparency, color, land cultivation, size and size. It is an important economic pillar of Yushan besides tourism. Most natural flowers and plants are one of the most important ecological gene banks in the world.
