Guangshan County is located in the southeast of Henan Province, bordering Huaihe River in the north and Dabie Mountain in the south. It is the junction of Hubei, Henan and Anhui provinces. It is a famous county in Jiangsu and a key county for poverty alleviation and development. It is also the birthplace of Sima Guang, a politician, writer and historian in the Northern Song Dynasty, and the hometown of Deng, former chairman of China People's Political Consultative Conference.
