Jianggan District (revoked) originally belonged to Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and is one of the oldest urban areas in Hangzhou, located in the east of Hangzhou. Jianggan District is the bridgehead of Hangzhou's eastward expansion, the axis of Hangzhou's urban development strategy and the transportation hub of Hangzhou. Cancel Shangcheng District and Jianggan District of Hangzhou, set up a new Shangcheng District of Hangzhou, and take the administrative area of the original Shangcheng District and Jianggan District (excluding Xiasha Street and Baiyang Street) as the administrative area of the new Shangcheng District.
Xiayan former residence scenic spot
Xia Yan's former residence. It was built in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It is a Chinese bungalow, located in Yanjialong, outside the gate of Chun Qing. The famous writer Xia Yan once lived here. Behind the showroom is the cultural relics protection unit in Hangzhou. It was named Hangzhou patriotism education base.
Formerly known as Bayongtang, the former residence is a quadrangle with five bays and seven entrances. It is an activity place for Xia Yan from birth to youth. After expansion, it covers an area of1200m2, with a construction area of 600m2. Adopt quadrangle style and Jiangnan residential style. The exhibition hall shows the life story of Xia Yan who was engaged in film activities all his life, as well as the glasses, clothes and famous calligraphy and painting used by Xia Yan before his death.
