Chaoshan Scenic Area is located in the northern suburbs of Hangzhou City, within the ancient town of Tangqi. Starting from Hangzhou Railway Station, it is about 30 kilometers to Tangqi Town, which takes 50 minutes by car and nearly two hours by car. It's only seven kilometers from Tangqi to Chaoshan, and it only takes half an hour by car.
In the prose "Plum Blossoms at Chaoshan" written by Yu Dafu, he first went to Chaoshan to appreciate the plum blossoms and climb the mountain, and then went to Tangqi Ancient Town for rest, food and accommodation. It seems that this arrangement is more reasonable and more comfortable.
When I went to Chaoshan this time, considering the convenience of the return trip, I went to Tangqi first and then to Chaoshan. Then go directly from Chaoshan back to Hangzhou where the hotel is located.
Tangqi Ancient Town has a history of thousands of years. After swimming, I felt it was really small. There are two most famous attractions to see: One is the Guangji Bridge, which is built entirely of stone and has seven symmetrical holes, lying on the ancient Grand Canal. It is understood that "Guangji Bridge is the only remaining seven-hole stone arch bridge on the ancient canal, and it is also the largest thin-pier coupled-arch stone bridge preserved on the Grand Canal." It is said to have been built during the Baoli period of the Tang Dynasty. The bridge itself is truly ancient and historic. In the past years of Tangqi, the canal was the most important port for transportation and trade, and the location of Tangqi became a must-pass hub for river transportation between Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Jiangsu. It can be imagined that in the past, Tangqi Ancient Town was a lively and prosperous scene where merchants once gathered. Nowadays, with the development of transportation information, Tangqi has lost its original role as a river transportation hub and has gradually become neglected. Guangji Bridge is the witness of all this; the other is Yubei Pier. Given by the emperor during his southern tour. However, in modern society, it seems that there is no longer the same cult of personality as in the past. The high-standing archway and inscriptions look lost and silent in the eyes of tourists coming and going, and they can just walk by. The short old streets and ancient buildings are out of date. After a quick walk around, we took a bus to Chaoshan.
Chaoshan is named after plum blossoms. The East Garden, North Garden, and the area in front of Daming Hall and Song Plum Pavilion are planted with countless plum trees, making them a popular place for viewing plum blossoms. There are narrow paths and winding paths. Walking in the plum forest, even in midsummer in July, it seems that you can smell the fragrance of plum blossoms. If you come here in February when the plum blossoms bloom, walking hand in hand among the snowy sea and fragrant stamens, it must be a very beautiful thing!
It seems that it is not the season to visit Chaoshan, but after seeing it on the spot, you can feel a little bit of the emotion and temperament of the literary writer from "Plum Blossoms of Chaoshan". In addition to viewing the ancient "Song Plum" and "Tang Plum" in the Plum Resort area, you can also climb the "Chaofeng" via the stone steps on the right side of the Daming Hall. Under the corridor of the Daming Hall next to the stone steps, an old man asked people who wanted to go up the mountain to register, and told him that there were more than a thousand steps to the Yuxi Temple on the top of the mountain. This is true. I remember there are more than 1,300 steps. In the forest of tall camphor, maple, and bamboo plants, the stone steps are winding, step by step, and the sun is blocked by thick shade. The steps are covered with fallen leaves. It is quiet everywhere. I can only hear the birds singing in my ears. I think I am alone. Go up the mountain. After climbing a thousand steps, I sat in front of a pavilion in front of the steps with the word "1000" written on it. On both sides of the pavilion door were written, "The road is long and long, I will go up and down to search." In fact, after walking dozens or hundreds of steps and ten minutes, we arrived in front of Yuxi Temple at the top of the mountain.
In front of the temple are written two big red characters "Chaofeng".
“The advantage of super mountain is that there is a pile of rocks at the top of the mountain and thousands of plum blossoms at the foot of the mountain. If you look at the sea to the east and the Qianjiang River to the south, the fields are like wells, the rivers are like intestines, mulberry trees are everywhere, and clouds and trees are stretching to the sky. "
This description is roughly what it is like when looking south from the corner outside the gate of Chaofeng Yuxi Temple. There are indeed a few rocks on the top of the mountain, where you can look far to the north of Chaoshan. As for Huanghe Mountain and Gaoting Mountain, I can't tell which one it is. Standing at the top of the mountain, I just feel that I "don't know the true face of Mount Lu". If we talk about the origin of the name Chaoshan, it is named because the north, south and east sides are relatively steep and the mountain is abrupt, which means it is transcendent.
In fact, there are more wonders in the world than this. Its fame is often related to its humanity.
For example, Chaoshan, in addition to plum blossoms, is probably still plum blossoms. The mountains are so dangerous and steep that they can't match Huangshan. In fact, it can be regarded as an ordinary mountain. Because plum blossoms are loved by people. The freshness and fragrance of plum blossoms always attract the admiration of literati, and in the end, some traces and stories are inevitably left behind.
First, the first thing that made me know about Chaoshan was the prose "The Plum Blossoms of Chaoshan" written by Yu Dafu. It's July now and there are no plum blossoms, so I didn't come here just for the plum blossoms.
The second reason is because of the painter Wu Changshuo, who visited the plum blossoms in Chaoshan twice during his lifetime and fell in love with the beautiful scenery here, so he wanted to be buried in the snowy sea of ??plum trees in Chaoshan after his death. There is his memorial hall on the right side of the steps up the mountain. However, painters or literati seem to belong to a niche and petty bourgeoisie. As for Wu Changshuo's memorial hall in Chaoshan, no one seems to be visiting it. At least in the near future, perhaps due to the epidemic, one room is not open, and the lights in the other room that are open are not turned on normally. At around three o'clock in the afternoon, it is dark and gloomy inside. It was as humid as night, and one roof was still dripping with water.
So, coming to Chaoshan is nothing more than appreciating the plum blossoms. Come in February, take a walk with the people you know and love in the sea of ??snow and the fragrance of flowers, the plum blossoms are falling, just walk and walk. His head turned white.
If you are still interested in walking strength, you can also go to climb Chaofeng to see the distance. To lament the insignificance of man between heaven and earth, and to feel the powerful power of man to create the world and create life. Standing on the top of the mountain, walking along the way, the tunnel of time, in an instant, seems like thousands of years.
