Do you know that there are only three emperors' hidden houses left in the Qing Dynasty?

What is the well-known hidden mansion? The word "hidden house" appeared in ancient history. Yes, in the classical history of China, secluded houses were usually given to princes who were not princes, and places where royal descendants lived. Most of them are princes who can ascend to the throne The place where the prince lives is the East Palace. If the prince can ascend to the throne, then naturally, there will be no more hidden houses. Hidden mansion also has a full name called Qianlong mansion, which means the real dragon emperor hiding in his place of residence.

Today, in the Forbidden City, that is, the Lama Temple in Beijing, ancient Yong Zhengdi lived before he ascended the throne. What a coincidence. Unfortunately, not only that, but even the emperor Qianlong, who later ascended the throne, came from this Lama Temple. There were two emperors in the same place, so the Lama Temple became the hidden house of Yongzheng. So do you understand? Apart from the Lama Temple, which emperors in the Qing Dynasty had their own hidden palaces? If so, where are they now?

The Lama Temple became a temple.

Now let's talk about the story of Yonghe Palace. The Lama Temple was built in the Qing Dynasty, around 1694. Four years later, it will be around 1698. At that time, the four emperors Yin Zhen 17 years old were conferred Baylor by Emperor Kangxi. At that time, Kangxi gave him the Lama Temple as a gift and regarded it as Baylor House. Time passed again. In the forty-eighth year of Kangxi, the fourth prince Yin Zhen was officially named Prince Heshuo Yong, and the Lama Temple became the harmonious palace of the prince. Two years later, the next king was born in Qin Yong Wang Mi, that is, the birth of Aisingiorro Xi. Since then, Yonghe Wang Fu and his son have succeeded to the throne, making this house more meaningful.

Time is running out 1722. In Changchun Garden in the northern suburbs, Emperor Kangxi took his own life. Thus, the fourth prince, Prince Yong, succeeded to the throne. After Yongzheng ascended the throne, of course, the whole family will move into the Forbidden City, and at this time, Qin Yong Wang Mi has become what we all often call the "Hidden Dragon Mansion".

According to the law of the Qing Dynasty, if you want to become a hidden dragon mansion, you can no longer regard it as the residence of others, but only as a religious temple or place of worship, or leave it vacant.

Later, the Lama Temple, which successfully became the official residence of Qianlong, was used as the palace by Emperor Qianlong. About 20 years later, that is, around 1744, because Emperor Qianlong believed in Buddhism, Emperor Qianlong decided to change the Lama Temple into the Lama Temple of Tibetan Buddhism, which was used as the main yamen for the Qing government to handle Tibetan Buddhist affairs throughout the country. Not only that, Emperor Qianlong also sent a minister of affairs to work here very carefully to manage religious affairs.

The emperor was adopted outside the palace.

We all know that most emperors' princes should live in the palace, so it is reasonable that such princes have no hidden houses. The two famous emperors Guangxu and Xuan Tong, whom we often talk about, were just adopted from relatives of the royal family, and both were very young children when they were adopted. Then, a question comes. Do they have a hidden house? The answer is yes. In fact, both emperors had hidden palaces. In fact, Emperor Guangxu in history was not the prince of Emperor Xianfeng. He is a typical prince outside the palace. He was the son of Yi Xuan, the prince of alcohol, and Wan Zhen, the sister of Cixi. When Emperor Guangxu was 4 years old, he was taken into the palace and became a prince. Therefore, we can say that the hidden palace of Guangxu is actually the Prince of Alcohol. Qin Chunwang Mi was originally the home of Nalan Pearl. During the Qianlong period, he was taken in by the big corrupt official Xiao Shenyang. After the fall of corrupt officials, Taizizhe lived here for several generations, and then this secluded residence spread to Taizichun. When the time came, Guangxu successfully ascended the throne, so he ordered it to be turned into his hiding place. According to the relevant regulations of the Qing Dynasty, Prince Chun's family had to move out. In desperation, they took the northern government soldiers as their new Prince Chun's residence.

In this way, King Mi of Qin Chun of the northern government soldiers became the secluded house of Emperor Xuan Tong. Everyone should have moved. You know, it's not easy for a big family to move, but it's very proud to have two emperors in one place. It's just that the fate of these two emperors is not smooth, and their fate is somewhat bumpy. After the founding of New China, Beifu once again became the main hall, a temple dedicated to ethnic religions.
