Jixi County is one of the most important settlements of Hu family in China. Here, Hu is recognized as the largest and largest surname, and Hu in Jixi has also become a famous family with talented people.
At present, there are four main branches, which are called Jixi Four Tunes, namely Longchuan Tune, Jinhu Tune, Zunyi Tune and Ming Jing Tune. In the Westernization Movement, he hired foreign craftsmen and introduced equipment, which was quite rewarding. He made great contributions to the Western Expedition through raising grain machinery and borrowing foreign money. Because he assisted Zuo Yougong, he was awarded the alternate road in Jiangxi, wearing a yellow jacket. In just a few decades, he changed from a banker to a famous red-topped businessman in the Qing Dynasty.
