The master bedroom is large enough but for one person, is it better to have a 1.5-meter bed or a 1.8-meter bed?

When buying a bed for the bedroom, should you choose 1.5 meters or 1.8 meters? It turns out that this is what you should choose when buying a bed

Buying a house and decorating it is something that each of us will experience, and decorating is a very troublesome thing, and we need to choose many things. From the decorating style, to whether to use solid wood or ceramic tiles for the floor, whether to buy leather or fabric for the sofa, or single or double bed, these are all things that people often struggle with. Especially when it comes to choosing the size of the bed, many friends are very confused. We all know that beds are divided into 4 sizes, generally 90 centimeters, 1.2 meters, 1.5 meters, and 1.8 meters. When buying beds at home, most of us choose a 1.5-meter or 1.8-meter large bed, because this is what we often call a double bed and is more practical. The 90cm and 1.2m single beds are generally bought by students or dormitories.

However, the choice between a 1.2-meter bed and a 1.5-meter bed is actually quite confusing. Because a 1.2-meter bed is about the same size as a 1.5-meter bed, and the 1.5-meter bed actually sleeps two people, it is still a bit crowded, because on average, the sleeping space for one person is only 75 centimeters, which is relatively narrow. In fact, in ancient times, two people slept on a 1.2-meter bed, which is what we often call "same bed and pillow", and the pillow was on a 1.2-meter bed. But later on, the 1.5-meter bed came out, and people thought that the 1.5-meter bed was more suitable for a double bed for two people. Until now, the 1.8-meter double bed has been released, and people feel that it is a bit inappropriate to use the 1.5-meter bed as a double bed.

In fact, we don’t have to be so entangled when choosing a bed. First of all, we need to choose based on our own circumstances, such as the size of your room and how big of a bed you are allowed to put. Secondly, whether you will use it for a long time, whether you want two people to sleep or one person to sleep, you need to choose based on these two points. If the size of our room allows it, it is more practical to put a 1.8-meter bed. As long as there are two 60-centimeter aisles available on both sides of the bed, and fixed items such as doors and windows are not blocked, that's fine. Also, you should think about whether you sleep alone for a long time and have little need for a double bed, or whether you often sleep with two people, so you must choose a double bed. Because when we buy a bed, we should first consider comfort, not whether it looks good or not. As long as the comfort level is relatively high and does not affect the decoration effect, then we should try to choose a larger bed so that it will be more comfortable to sleep. Generally, beds of 1.5 meters and 1.8 meters are commonly used in families.

For example, if your room can accommodate a 1.2-meter bed and a bedside table, then I suggest you choose a 1.5-meter bed, because the bedside table cannot be placed on only one side, which is not conducive to the feng shui of the bedroom. We can put a 1.5-meter bed, and then make some long partitions above the head of the bed, which can be used to put some small things, which is both beautiful and practical. I wonder what everyone considers when buying a bed?
