Located in the west of Yinchuan Plain in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the scenic spot consists of four scenic spots: Gunzhongkou, Xixia Mausoleum, Baisikou and Sanguan Ancient Great Wall.
Gunbugou is located at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, 35 kilometers northwest of Yinchuan City, and it was a scenic spot as early as Xixia period. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, temples with Helan Mountain Temple as the main body have been continuously built. Up to now, there are still Laojuntang, Doum Palace, Tian Xiaodong and Mosque in the scenic spot. The pictographic stones in the valley are "Lion Roar", "Crouching Tiger", "Fairy Guide" and "Blue Sheep Jump", all of which are moving.
There are square towers and twin towers in Baisikou Scenic Area. The square tower is a solid tower, 1 1 eaves, with a high posture of about 30 meters. edge
It is 6.2 meters long. Each floor has a subtle division and distinct levels. The outside of the tower is painted with white ash, which looks like a lux, holding the sun and the moon in both hands. The Twin Towers are located at Baisikou, east-west, with a distance of 100 meters. A tower in the east, with 13 layers of octagonal bricks, is about 45 meters high. The tower is a dense eaves type. A lotus petal-shaped brake seat is placed on the 13 floor to support the phase wheel. There is a tower in the west, with brick 14 floors, similar in appearance and height to the East Tower. Except for the first floor, there are niches in the middle of each side directly below the tower eaves of other floors, and a Buddha statue is molded in each niche, sitting or standing, with different postures.
Xixia Mausoleum is located at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, 25 kilometers west of Yinchuan City and 40 square kilometers in Fiona Fang. There are 9 imperial tombs and more than 70 buried tombs. Lingyi is located in the north of Lingqu, with a total area of about 60,000 square meters, surrounded by rammed earth walls, and the remains of squares, roads, courtyards, wells and houses in the city are clearly visible, and the layout is very standardized and neat. The city is divided into three parts: front, middle and back. There is a large-scale temple in the middle of the middle and back, and other buildings are mostly concentrated in the front and middle of the city, forming a closed courtyard.
The mausoleum was built in imitation of Song Ling, Gongxian County, Henan Province. The first cemetery is a complete architectural group, with angular platforms in all four corners of the cemetery, and tall bird stands on both sides of Shinto. There used to be a magpie platform, a tablet pavilion, a sacred wall, a turret, a moon city, an inner city and a stone statue of a mausoleum platform. In the park, a magnificent palace on the ground is formed. The cemetery was destroyed in A.D. 1227. The surviving rows of sacred walls, magpies and watchtowers are still standing, especially those octagonal pagodas made of loess, which are more than 20 meters high and are praised by foreign tourists as "the pyramids of China".
The Xixia Mausoleum embodies the splendid culture created for Xixia. At that time, the Xixia Dynasty made Yinchuan its capital, with a territory of "Yellow River in the east, Yumen in the west, Xiaoguan in the south and desert in the north, covering an area of more than 10,000 miles, with Helan as the solid." Helan Mountain is the Royal Lin Yuan. There are royal palaces and monasteries such as "Li Gong" and "Summer Palace" on the mountain. Helan Mountain is steep, pine forests are like the sea, looking eastward, Yinchuan Plain is like the Yellow River, buildings are criss-crossed, ditches are like a net, and the fragrance of rice is fragrant, which is a scenery of "blocking the south of the Yangtze River". Now, in order to reproduce the charm of that year, the mausoleum has set up an acousto-optic device. When night falls, everything is silent, and the lights from the ground are yellow and blue, shining on the tombs, turrets and sacred walls, just like the fairy world.
