Historical evolution
In the Spring and Autumn Period, it was affiliated to Xianyu, and in the Warring States Period, it returned to Zhongshan. The Qin Dynasty built Kuxing, the Han Dynasty established Wuji, and was named Wuji in the second year of Tongtian of the Tang Dynasty (AD 697).
In the first year of Lu Yin (722 BC), the official Wuhai commanded his troops to occupy Jiyi (now Jiting, Yutai County, Shandong), and Jihou left for Yan.
