Jianshuiquan prose

Speaking of the name Jiangshui Spring, probably no one in Jinan does not know it. Places such as Jiangshuiquan Village, Jiangshuiquan Reservoir, Jiangshuiquan Road, etc. are all named after this spring, which shows its popularity. High.

Jinan is the capital of springs and is famous all over the world. Not to mention the outer suburbs, the old city alone has four famous spring groups and dozens of famous springs. Baotu Spring and Black Tiger Spring are their representatives. . There are even more famous springs scattered throughout the urban area, as numerous as the stars in the sky. The Jiangshui Spring located at the western foot of Huilong Mountain at the junction of urban and rural areas in the southeast of Jinan City belongs to this category. Different from other famous springs in the city, the Ningshui Spring does not emerge from the flat ground, but gushes out of the mountains.

There is a reservoir four to five hundred meters south of Jiangshui Spring, which is also named after Jiangshui Spring. The mountain to the east of the reservoir is called Huilong Mountain, which is the birthplace of Jiangshui Spring; the mountain to the west is called Laohu Mountain, and Jiangshui Spring Village is located at the northern foot of Laohu Mountain. Huilong Mountain is steep and steep. The mountain is covered with pine trees, which are lush all year round. There are also some other miscellaneous trees. The most famous ornamental tree is the cotinus. Huilong Mountain in late autumn is as beautiful as a watercolor painting with dots of red among the green bushes. Tiger Mountain in the west is far away from Huilong Mountain. It is a majestic mountain with green pine trees covering almost the entire mountain. What's interesting is that there is a cave on the mountains on both sides of the reservoir. According to legend, Erlang carried these two mountains. The corresponding caves on the mountain are the pole eyes, which is evidence that Erlang carried the mountain. The reservoir dam spanning between two mountains is 200 meters long and six meters wide. I don't know exactly when it was built. During the rainy season in summer, floods often overflow the dam and form a waterfall, cascading down from the top of the dam with a height of 100 meters, like the Milky Way hanging upside down. The clouds are steaming and the water mist is diffuse, which is very impressive.

Below the Jiangshuiquan Dam is a large flood discharge ditch, winding northward through the urban area. Jiangshui Spring is located at the northwest foot of Huilong Mountain, thirty or forty meters away from the bottom of the flood discharge ditch. The mouth of the spring is less than two meters wide. It has a square door built with marble, and the words "Jiangshui Spring" are written above the lintel. Big bold letters. After entering the cave, there are four or five concrete steps to go down. The spring pool in the cave is five to six meters long from north to south and three to four meters wide from east to west. It has an irregular oval shape. The water in the spring pool is less than two meters deep and the water is so clear that you can clearly see the size and shape of the stones at the bottom of the pool. The rocks around the cave seem to be limestone, intertwined, uneven and smooth, all wet, and moss still grows in some places. The top of the cave is at different heights from the water, with the highest point being close to two meters. Large drops of water drip from the top of the cave into the pool like broken pearls, making a ding-dong-ding-dong sound; the sound of dripping water inside the cave seems to It's bigger, and the frequency of water dripping is also faster. It's not a ding-dong-ding-dong sound, but a gurgling water. Because the light deep inside the cave is relatively dim, it is impossible to see where the water is exactly. It is not known whether there are other springs in this spring or where they are. From the constant stream of people coming to fetch water every day but the water in the spring pool never seems to be running low, we can judge that the water output of this spring is very considerable. I once asked a villager who came to fetch water whether the spring had dried up. The villager replied that he was more than fifty years old and had grown up drinking water from this spring. No matter it was a flood year or a drought year, he never remembered that the spring had dried up.

On the south side of the spring cave, the Jinan City Famous Spring Management Office erected a stone tablet in 2004. The inscription records the historical legend and repair process of this spring. Legend: There was an old man named Jiang who traveled to countless places across the country and came to Huilong Mountain. He fell in love with this geomantic treasure and did not want to leave. However, he was suffering from the lack of water, so he searched for water along the foothills and found Jiangshui Spring. When the rocks on the mountain are moist, one has to cut the rocks to find water, and the spring water will come out. Because the spring water was dug by an old man named Jiang, it was sweet and refreshing, so people named this spring Jiangshui Spring; "Jiang" has the same pronunciation as "Jiang", and because the spring water resembles nectar and jade liquid, it is named Jiangshui Spring. Jiangshui Spring has been included in the list of 72 famous springs in Jinan City since the Jin Dynasty. In 2004, the Yaojia Town Government and Jiangshuiquan Village Committee in Lixia District, Jinan City renovated Jiangshuiquan to facilitate the people to fetch water, hardened the roads around the spring, and beautified the surrounding environment.

There are two spring wells to the north of the main spring cave of Jiangshui Spring. They are about twenty or thirty meters away from the main spring cave. One of them has an opening, and the water well is three to four meters deep and water can be found; the other one has an opening at the mouth of the well. It was covered with an iron grate, so you couldn't see what was going on inside.

That day, I went to inspect the Jiangshui Spring. I saw a middle-aged man using a rope to tie a bucket to draw water from the open well mouth. I was a little curious and asked, "Brother, are you drawing water from the spring hole in the south?" Isn't it more convenient? Why are you going to all this trouble here? The middle-aged man smiled and said, our family has been drinking water from this spring for many years, so we are used to it.

There are hundreds of households in Jiangshuiquan Village, separated by a ditch from Jiangshuiquan. The villagers have lived on this spring for generations. But now the village has been completely demolished, and only ruins remain on the original village site. There are still a few families scattered on the high ground at the bottom of the ditch below the reservoir dam and on the east side of the dam who have not moved. I don't know whether they are nostalgic for this land or reluctant to part with this spring.

It has been twenty years since I moved to live near Jiangshui Spring, and it has been more than ten years since I started buying mineral water for cooking and drinking at home. In fact, I have long known that there is this spring near my residence, but I have been too lazy to go take a look. I have visited Jiangshui Spring Reservoir Scenic Area countless times, and I also had the idea of ????wanting to see this spring, but because there is no serious road to Jiangshui Spring, I have no interest, so I have been My wish to see this spring was not fulfilled. Besides, there are so many famous springs in Jinan. To be honest, I don’t take Jiangshui Spring seriously.

When I lived in the Xijia area of ??my workplace, my neighbor, Mr. Dong, had retired at home. His family had been drinking water from the Yangshui Spring since he retired, which was about five or six years ago. I often see him riding a motorcycle with a few plastic buckets strapped to the car, going to the slurry spring to fetch water. Once, I went to his house for some business, and he made tea for me. Not to mention the quality of the tea, when drinking this tea, you can clearly feel the difference between it and other water. I asked Teacher Dong, what are the benefits of this water? He said, among other things, the most expensive bottled Pulis mineral water in Jinan now has a layer of white scale on the bottom of the boiled kettle, which is not found in this spring water, and it tastes good when you drink it. No odor at all. I have been drinking Pulis mineral water at home, and it is true that there is a layer of white scale on the bottom of the boiled kettle. I tasted the tea and it was indeed delicious. From then on, I had the idea of ????going to the Jiangshui Spring to get water for food.

In fact, I have been going to Black Tiger Spring in the city center to fetch water intermittently over the years, but the distance is relatively long. After my family bought a car, I drove to fetch water and didn’t realize how far it was. , but it is getting more and more difficult to find a place to park near Heihu Spring. Jiangshui Spring is only two kilometers away from my home. It takes up to half an hour to drive back and forth to collect water, which is much less time than going to Black Tiger Spring. In the first half of this year, we learned from the media that the cadres of Jiangshuiquan Village had installed a rolling iron gate and locked it in Jiangshuiquan, which caused some difficulties for some people outside Jiangshuiquan Village to fetch water. One day, I went to investigate. I followed a shabby cement ramp from the west side of the ditch to the bottom of the ditch. I crossed a small stone arch bridge and turned around a large mound. I walked on the cement slope on the east side of the ditch and saw the ditch bank. There is a stone cave door on the hillside. I think this is probably the Jiangshui Spring. The road in front of the entrance of Jiangshui Spring has been hardened, and a set of cement steps have been built towards the bottom of the ditch, but it seems that no one has left it...

Shortly after this inspection, I started to dig at Jiangshui Spring. I have been drinking water for several months now, basically once a week. Sometimes I ride a scooter and sometimes I drive. It's a coincidence. Every time I go there, I usually encounter villagers fetching water. The rolling shutter door of the spring cave is open, so I take advantage of it. But there were a few times when I arrived and the rolling shutter door was locked, so I could only wait. Although people are constantly drawing water from the spring well in the north, I always feel that it is unsanitary for the spring to have its mouth open, so I would rather wait than draw water from that spring. One time, I waited for half an hour, but no villagers came to fetch water from Jiangshui Spring. I got a little angry, and even had the idea of ??smashing the iron lock, but when I saw the villagers standing on the walls on both sides of the spring cave, According to the rules, the person who breaks the lock will be compensated with a thousand yuan, so he will not dare to commit the crime.

Soon, I met with a villager from Jiangshui Spring who had worked with me before. I told him about the inconvenience of going to Jiangshui Spring to get water. He understood what I meant and said that because the spring pool was often used by some nearby students or migrant workers to wash their faces and things, and some people went down to wash their feet and clothes, which damaged the spring water and affected drinking, the village had no choice but to install a rolling shutter door.

Most of the villagers who still live here are equipped with keys. If villagers without keys go to the spring to fetch water, it is more convenient to go to the home of the village cadre responsible for managing the spring to get the key. Let's do this. I'll find a way to get you a key. It will be more convenient for you to fetch water in the future. I said it would be troublesome for you.

A few days later, this friend indeed sent me the key to the slurry spring and asked me not to spread it outside. I thanked him and said I would comply. After that, I will go to fetch water. If I can't catch up with the villagers to fetch water, I don't need to wait any longer.
