Ganzhou
Ganzhou in a narrow sense refers to the surrounding area of the ancient city of Ganzhou in Jishou, and Ganzhou in a broad sense refers to the new urban area (Ganzhou street) of Jishou, which is the political center of Jishou and the seat of Jishou Economic Development Zone in Hunan. Ganzhou is located in the south-central part of Jishou. In 2007, Jishou Municipal People's Government moved here from the old city. "Ganzhou" has gradually become a geographical term that breaks through the administrative divisions at the township level and is used to represent the new urban area of Jishou City.
