Zhou Hua was born in Guangxi, a painting and calligraphy province. He has a gift for painting since childhood. When he was a child, he often painted on the beach or on the ground by the river. The landscapes he painted are vivid and pleasing to the eye, and the villagers call him a "painting prodigy". A little longer, he got the guidance of his hometown painter and painter, and his painting skills have made great progress. He knows that painting is not only similar in form, but also has charm in artistic conception. During this period, painting is often a snack. Day after day, year after year, his basic painting skills are very profound. During my study in the Academy of Fine Arts of Guangxi Normal University, I worked hard on the integration of traditional and modern skills, and finally achieved great success and formed a unique style. After graduating from college, I went north to Kyoto to follow Long Rui, john young and other landscape painting masters, and made new breakthroughs in painting skills and styles.
Zhou Hua's paintings have a wide range of subjects. He is good at landscapes, flowers and birds, figures, meticulous brushwork, and wonderful creation and sketch. He doesn't want to stick to the rules and likes to try various styles and painting methods.
Zhou Hua's landscape painting has a deep traditional foundation. Looking at his works, there is no lack of the profundity of Zhenwu and Wang Meng, and the composure and grace of Zhao Mengfu and Dong Qichang. What is valuable is that Zhou Hua can learn from the past. His landscape painting is traditional, but it is different from other schools and has its own distinctive style.
His brushwork of ink and landscape is dignified, with a pen at the center, in place and natural and graceful. His brush strokes are natural and free, with ups and downs, which not only shapes the image in his chest in a simple form, but also maintains the unique aesthetic charm of pen and ink to the maximum extent.
