Taiji gossip is one of the proudest achievements of Chinese civilization. Where does Tai Chi gossip come from?

Originated from the Book of Changes and the Book of Changes.

The so-called "Infinity begets Tai Chi, Tai Chi begets two instruments, two instruments begets four elephants, four elephants begets gossip, gossip begets sixteen yin and yang, sixteen yin and yang begets thirty-two yin and yang, and thirty-two yin and yang begets sixty-four hexagrams ...". Yin-yang and five elements are philosophical concepts, covering everything in the world. "Book of Changes" refers to two kinds of Tai Chi instruments, which explain the origin and opposition of all things and have yin and yang significance.

But the essence of yin and yang is not simple, there is yang in yin and yin in yang; When they are opposed to each other, there is a balanced harmony and unity. As Laozi said, everything is negative and holds Yang. Therefore, Yin is divided into Taiyin and Shaoyin, and Yang is divided into Sun and Shaoyang. It is further subdivided into eight diagrams: seeing, root, truth, Xun, reason, Kun, right and doing. Images and concepts including human images, astronomical phenomena, nature, geography, ethics, physiology, fate, affinity, restraint and so on are almost all-encompassing.

The "hexagram" of gossip is a word of understanding. From Kwai, from Bugui to Tugui, the mud was made into a pillar to measure the shadow of the sun. Eight diagrams are set up to measure the shadow of the sun, that is, the observed shadow of the sun is summarized and recorded from four angles, forming an image of eight diagrams.

The basic unit of gossip is hexagrams, which are mostly special symbols to describe the changes of sun shadows. There are two kinds of hexagrams: Yin and Yang, with Yang indicating sunshine and Yin indicating moonlight. Each hexagram has three hexagrams, representing heaven and earth, including the whole celestial movement and meteorological changes. These astrological studies are called astronomy and the earth. Geography and personnel should be combined to carry out production and life according to these laws. The arrangement order of each hexagram is from bottom to top. The bottom horizontal line is called the first hexagram, the middle horizontal line is called the second hexagram, and the top horizontal line is called the third hexagram.

Eight diagrams represent eight basic images: dry represents heaven, Kun represents earth, earthquake represents thunder, Xun represents wind, gen represents mountain, exchange represents ze, ridge represents water, and separation represents fire. It is always called Jing, and the arrangement and combination of the two classics in the eight classics constitute sixty-four hexagrams. They are endless, derived from generation to generation, and change endlessly.

China's ancient method of luck is to derive a set of theories based on Yin and Yang from the changes of everything, and to explain the truth with five lines of gossip.

Two instruments: Yin and Yang. Four images: Sun, Shaoyang, Taiyin and Shaoyin.

Five elements: gold, water, wood, fire and earth. Eight trigrams: Kan, Gen, Zhen, Xun, Li, Kun, Right, and Gan.

Tiangan: A, B, C, D, E, Ji, G, Xin, Ren and Gui.

Dizhi: Zi, Ugly, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu and Hai.

The nickname "geomancy" of Feng Shui was first seen in Zhou Li. Feng Shui divides "Qi" into anger, anger, discouragement, suffocation and death. Anger and arrogance are auspicious, while depression, suffocation and death are evil.

Anger, according to Kanyu's explanation, means that the yang is strong and promotes the development of everything. It is the life element of all things in the universe. Everything bodes well only when you are angry. The qi of geomantic omen is regulated by the eight diagrams and nine planets, and the five elements generate grams, which is the purpose of geomantic omen to find "qi". Gong Liu, the great-grandson of Hou Ji, the ancestor of Zhou Dynasty, originally lived in Rongdi until he took over the position of patriarch, so he led his people to Bin County, Shaanxi Province, which was also a national migration.

Based on years of accumulated experience, Zhou people have a certain understanding of natural mountains and rivers, rivers, wind, rain, thunder, cold and heat, soil, air flow like water and so on. They know that the terrain where the wind blows high and low flows is inclined from northwest to southeast, and gradually know that the living environment must be sunny, backwater, suitable for water, fertile soil, convenient for farming and conducive to hunting and fishing. The valley is really a good place to live.
